I thought this game was abandoned long time ago? Super happy to see it's getting worked on again!

Mixed feelings about this. On the one hand this was a very promising story and I was disappointed when it appeared to have been abandoned, so its revival is good news. On the other hand, this new chapter has very serious deficiencies regarding the English language. I wish the new dev(s) success, and hope that they can enlist the assistance of a literate native English speaker, without which I fear the project will fail.
Yeah I came here to post the same thing, the script is SUPER ESL. There's tough instead of taught and thought several times over, missing periods singulars instead of plurals, etc.
Also the renders for the movie bit looked so blurry I had to check if this was the compressed version or not. This isn't even getting into the actual quality of the writing itself which is a gigantic downgrade.
This is like someone's Argentinian cousin tried to continue idk; Firefly with the same sets and actors but wrote the scripts themselves and filmed it with their old samsung phone
EDIT: The animations are like two second gifs that look worse than sex mods for The Sims 3. I have no idea why this new team didn't just do the sex scenes frame by frame like a comic if they aren't capable of doing animations that look passable.

It turned out well for the first attempt.
All I can do is repeat the words that have been repeated many times: do not rush. Of the three sex scenes, only the one where Alex loses the bet turned out to be completely reliable.
I liked the way the plot moves. And the art is good too.
If conclusions are drawn from the mistakes made, it will turn out very well.

I'm new to this game, so what's the difference between the two versions? Story? Characters? Just animations? Both are sandbox? Sorry for all the questions, but I interpret the description as saying there's a big difference... So which version should I download? Thanks..
Jesus H. Christ, first The Tyrant and now this? Are they gonna update every goddamn abandoned VN in this site before GTA6 gets released?! In all seriousness, im intrigued to see this get a new update and am hoping this wont be a one time thing (unlike The Tyrant)
My response wasn't regarding the outcomes or the lack of them, it was regarding this update definitely not being worth a full replay
From what I remember,the devs originally started life on patreon by making adult comic strips, and then started making this game while juggling making the comic strips. After a period of great updates, they realised that they either dont have the time to continue making the game or this game isnt generating enough revenue (cant remember which was the reason), and started looking for new developers to take over the game, which is where the new dev came in with this update.

Is their a falloff from where it was? Sure.. but let's give them time.. a little bit of a getting their feet wet.. I played it from beginning to end and enjoyed myself. What is needed is consistency.. follow thru.. timely updates... This one can still be great. Looking forward to see what comes next. GL to the new team.

Well, looking at replies, I can see that even users who worship every second garbage game on this site weren't impressed by the update, and I myself won't sugarcoat my expressions; whoever made this update doesn't deserve nice words anyways.
So, what the heck was that bullshit? Devs call it an update? I was hyped when I saw that long-forgotten, more or less nice game from the past was resurrected from the dead, but oh boy, it would be better for the game to stay abandoned than to get worked on by the new team that made this pathetic 10-minute continuation. Animations is horrible, the writing is very bad, and thanks to that, the characters behavior is seriously degraded, the buildup and natural flow between some characters is completely ruined, and the sex scenes are extremely short, abrupt, and out of nowhere to the level where I was stunned and couldn't understand if this was all just the MC's dream. Every single aspect of the game became not just way worse; it's completely horrible. I was hyped and spent my free evening playing the game from the beginning just to be extremely disappointed at this pathetic continuation. And all of this disappointment fit in a 10-15 update. *Input meme* My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
We’re excited to keep growing The Mind Society for the next few years and maybe even bring you entirely new projects down the road.

Are you guys serious?) How embarrassing. If this update was made by a solo middle schooler, then I could understand, but this? It really isn't worth a penny. I can't even imagine paying even a dollar for this extremely low-quality work. The player is the one who should be paid. 0 faith in the project and devs work. Everyone who complimented this garbage should be ashamed of their extremely low standards and tendency for a naive blind support without reason. So yeah, once again, it was my honest opinion without sugarcoating. I think I'll copypaste it to a review.

Although the latest updates may not be as substantial as before, this is still a good start. We hope the developers keep up the good work!
Can you share your save files?I honestly forgot this one existed and i still have save files.. last from mid April 2023 armwrestling between Alex and Miss Hill
From that point on quality for sure went even down to hell, such a disappointment so i guess it's time to move on.
