Message me some more good games I’ve missed in the last couple years. I doubt they can be as good as this one but I’m curious about what I’ve missed.
Also, my one problem with the game is how people don’t talk about things, they talk around them. I understand why, just think it’s awkward.

Goddamn that prologue was brutal. Beautifully written, with gorgeous renders. An AVN that easily stands with the very best out there. Looking forward to many more updates.

This game already went and redone a lotta early visual and writing, just like a show would between the pilot and the first episodes, with a lot to do with how the past is dictating the life and feelings of MC.
There is no secret this is majorly a butterfly effect or a ”watching over him from above” kind of story, where even if we wanted to totally discredit MC as a broken man, he goes and finds himself twice into suicidal situations, once letting the obvious plot armor get him back into the game and then, for a second time, a plot device comes crashing down on him.
The pronoun game and the mystery by omission word-play gets into full swing many times in this game, where people hit by the same trauma come together without knowing of the reason for it, their misery or their destiny.
This is a tried and true, polished to absolute stardom, well known and established trope, that is the meandering story and plot and tension sprung out of a lot of characters never talking straight to one another:
- Clark never telling Lois he is superman for the longest of times, rather sulking and aching while being friendzoned hard as Clark while Lois just fangirled harder over Superman, while the whole point of Spiderman-No way home, two billion dollars worth of a gigasuccess was always hinging on Spiderman wanting people to forget he ever was a superhero to begin with, dissapearing from exitence - the usual nonsense successful people coined trouble of being ”ashamed of who I am - a total catch and a chad, for whom women would kill eachother”, while dragging my sorry, self-pitying, self-deprecating, selfish, fantasy fetish of not being enough, throughout the whole adventure.

Chapter 3 - Progress update #16
After a frustrating last week, this week was filled with more positive things. I finished creating the animations on Wednesday. There are a total of 25 different animations with 49 different camera angles. That translates to a little bit over three minutes of video files in total.

In this chapter, I have deliberately pushed myself to my limits so that I will have no more uncertainties in the future. For me, there is nothing worse than not knowing what to expect. Creating 25 custom animations, which I hope will be satisfying, will definitely give me more confidence when it comes to animations. More importantly, the excessive work provided me with valuable experience regarding how long certain steps in the animation process take. Now I know what to focus on and what to ignore in the next chapter.

Chapter 3 - Progress update #17
I no longer have any mood shots for the progress reports. Since both machines are busy with the animations, I will use random old shots that I created in the past for the rest of the reports.
It's been an up-and-down week again. First, the negatives. After finishing the renders for Scene 2, I found that rendering Scene 1 would take an additional 2-3 days (once you see it you will know why). It's not much, but it does affect my plans somewhat. Additionally, I can already see from the first finished renders that I will need a few more new renders due to some frames jumping around in a way I can’t ignore. However, since I have two weeks for this during the proofreading stage, I could re-render the whole scene if necessary with that much time available, so it's not a big problem, just a little annoying.
Now, the positives. As you may have noticed, another bar has moved in the upper half of the report. Due to the longer rendering times, I had some unexpected downtime. I used that time to find, download, edit, and add music and sound effects to the code of this chapter. As I had originally planned for Chapter 2, I tried out a paid music service again. I added a total of just over 70 new tracks to Chapter 3. However, I'm going to continue using pure ambient music because I think it best suits the game. A 155 euro annual fee also sounds reasonable. The fact that the most popular sound effects are female moans shows me that I'm in the right place for anyone who is worried about licensing. Also, other big developers use their music, so it should be fine for the foreseeable future.
In summary, the proofreading will start a couple of days later. However, as soon as I receive the finished changes, I can release the game 2-3 days after that. I don't want to announce any specific dates yet, but I expect to be able to advance the Tier 3 release to the weekend of August 2nd–3rd.

Will she be in future jPk vns ? Because I really like the dynamic between her and mc . And also it will add some variety to LI . Although I like every Li in this vn , all of them are young women . For a mc who already had a wife and a daughter , I like to see him start some thing with a mature Li who can relate to him. Just giving my thoughts

Chapter 3 - Progress update #18
It's been 132 days since I started working on Chapter 3 and as of today my part of it is (mostly) finished. The last static renders have been completed, edited and implemented. I have passed the chapter on for proofreading and am now waiting for the result, just like you. The last count was a bit over 47k words so please be patient as the diligent duck is doing this in his private time without pay and putting a LOT of effort into it.
This is my last progress report for this chapter as nothing else will happen in the next 2-3 weeks except that I will re-render some animations and check and implement the dialogue corrections sent to me in batches.
My next post will either be a confirmation of the current release dates or an adjustment of the timing.
I'll fill the gap in between by finishing the script for chapter 4, so that when my 2-3 week break after the release of chapter 3 is over, I can start writing the dialogues for chapter 4 right away.
If my business goes through and i start getting money to spend, i'll gladly become a patreon.
