That's what I forgot to mention in my review, this game is like The Matrix in that respect. It's perfect down to every single frame. It also shows a lot of care for even the small details, including the proofreading. You won't find a single typo anywhere. What's not to like here...
The entire prologue felt unnecessary. Do we really need to meet the wife and daughter if they are simply killed off immediately. If you won't take the time and give proper weight to important events, you might as well just start us off after the fact and fill in with flashbacks as needed.
I found it tacky to fast-forward through events that are developing our main character. If that's not the story you want to tell, that's fine but don't take us through it only to not do it justice.

To be fair, the "Meet your potential love interests who can accompany you on your way out or watch you as you continue your descent." part in the description makes you think something dark will happen if you don't pursue some LI, like the MC committing suicide or who knows what. The MC killing himself would kinda fit the story, but that would be overdoing it and nobody wants that. And it's not like he's short of friends and nice girls around him.
Yeah most people but you seem to like it. Imo its what makes this avn unique and plenty like the backstory as it is, imo it does what it is supposed to do.
If thats not the story you want to read, thats fine but dont pretend like youre talking for some kind of majority lol?

Only thing that made me cry in this is the MC being so dumb he begs to not be reported to the police by someone who broke the law, riding their board on a sidewalk beyond walking speed. Even wants to pay them for their stupidity.

Actually, it was the prologue that hooked me in the first place. But man, I'm even a little jealous of those who started the game after several chapters had already been out. Because only after the prologue alone does such a feeling of complete despair remain...
