I doubt he's the only one. This game is pretty decent and yet it doesn't get as much attention as others of the same type. I reckon the prologue has a lot to do with that. Once it's established and you get into it, it's sort of fine, but actually watching it happen really throws a wrench in the whole thing. "There you go, worst thing imaginable, now go smash some cuties". A lot of the dialogue also feels like it doesn't really fit in after.
In a way, I feel like the daughter thing was too much. Because the game is sort of about dealing with the wife.
And yeh I also would have just played and probably never commented it if I didn't see you specifically talk about it when I tried the game just now. As in, you'd likely not see the people unhappy with it.

This AVN is one of best story AVN i ever met so far.
It's true that "slow-burner" AVN kinda underrated, and it might looks like "unpopular" for majority players. I'm one of the kind who play these "unpopular" AVN. I prefer more on stories and the quality of the art, and i enjoy this kind alot.
But let's understand each other opinions regarding that, it's just like i prefer Wine but some other ppl prefer to Beer. So i'll just enjoy my Wine with other ppl who enjoy it too. hahahaha

And about "Madelyn", I get introducing the wife's sister after her death, but her having the same name as the MC's daughter nukes all my interest in her as a potential LI.

Yeah that's the main thing that makes say I don't want to romance her if she becomes a LI but I will say this much this update made start slowly change my mind on that front a bit cause I really like her so far. But not enough yet cause her having both the same name and being our dead wife's sister make it to much for me. If it was one of the 2 wouldn't be a big deal for me but both gonna take a bit for me to even warm up to the idea if she even becomes a LI.

The tiptoing is reasonable imo, of course - we as readers - want to see the conclusions. But man, i can fully understand that the MC doesnt want to talk about maddys death, he is suppressing the event and the feelings coming along with it.
He still cried when Sarah pushed him too much about Ella and who Ella was too him (8years later!), he would simply break down (or is afraid of it) if he would have to start about maddy in some situations. Another reason could be that he doesnt want the pity and the focus on him losing his daugher (as he's still suppressing everything).
MC told Charlotte what happened himself during their first random meeting at the bridge (when she stopped him from comitting suicide), thats why she is aware.
You (can?) tell Hailey that Ella has passed away (and it happens always im my playthroughs, not sure if you overlooked it?), right after she sees the picture.
Im like 90-95% convinced that Lisa got the hint that the MC's wife and daughter are dead, shes sharp like that (unlike sarah who was a bit slow in that regard *cough*). If Carolyn could tell how sad the mc got while talking about maddy, i imagine Lisa could too while listening in.
I think thats why she did not asked any questions when they were talking about kids.

Well, she kinda found out from Charlotte...in the meeting If she doesn't ask questions about what happened there, she isn't perceptive. But given their walk and talk, and that Lisa hasn't had the same kind of focus in chapters as Sarah and Hailey, chances are there will be more talking.
People who tell me their whole life story in the 30min I first meet them, well, I tend to think they might have overshared based on the 'strength' of our newfound connection.

wow first time i saw comment about MC's dick hahahahaha
but its true, every little detail is very good in this game, not that kind of exaggerate-super-human MC or super huge tits-ass LI. Its refreshing at last we play as "normal human" with great stories.
BUT yeah, i thought the dick kinda too small, i find it quite funny hahahaha (no offense).
