If I had to choose a LI to end up with at this point in the game, it would be Lisa 100%. Every other relationship feels too ... messy.

Hailey is a child, and an employee. Happy to help her with her issue and send her into the world, but there's no long-term relationship there. Also her roommate is headache.

Sarah, imo, is going to be a constant reminder of Madelyn's last day in the hospital once that revelation is brought out. The vibe just isn't right.

Tanya is all the way out. I'm happy that MC has found a sister-in-law, but anything romantic or sexual would just be too weird.

Linda suffers from the same issue as Hailey, in that she is an employee. I like her more than Hailey though because she's more age-appropriate and mature.

Lisa however, is amazing. Her feelings for the high society class is the same as MCs, she doesn't have any previous history with him besides seeing him tying Maddy's shoe, so I find her relationship and interest more pure.

The only way I would even consider doing anything with Vicky would be if Ben died, and even then there would have to be a time skip in the game. I adore Ben and Vicky's relationship with each other, and they've been amazing friends to MC so there's no way I would go there otherwise.

And the fact that this story seems to be mapped out already, makes me very eager for the next chapter. Keep up the good work, Dev!

I think you're confusing her with Sarah, the axe wielding nurse, who was raised on a remote farm and does field anaesthesia.

The joke is on the MC, they ALL own axes.

The Hailey route is the only one I pursue after going through all 3. I like both her and Emily and found the dynamic that started to build between the 3 quite enjoyable. He is a born "dad" and it shows in their interaction, something Hailey needs in her life. And he benefits greatly from the energy and fresh mindset they bring with. Emily seem to be quite controversial here, but I like her antics.

Don't care about Sarah, MC has enough to deal with. Didn't really enjoy their interactions and way too fast to put out for my taste.

Lisa is a mixed bag for me. On one hand she has a very similar mindset as the MC when it comes to life overall. But then she supports her mother, a really horrible person, even tho she knows a lot about her personality. I understand that she is grateful given the support she got from her, but I don't think she is healthy for the MC. Honestly if I could get rid of the mother, she would be a contestant for Haileys route.

Linda is my personal favorite. She is extremely loyal, well grounded, quite attractive and cares for the MC more than most other people, only matched by BenV.
If she'll ever get a solo route, this would be it for me.
The whole employee problem is so artifical that it suprises me that anyone actually thinks thats a real thing.

Ben and Vicky must be protected at all cost, both relationship and health wise. Best friend package I ever encountered in a VN.

Since everyone's talking about their favorites, I'll add a couple of mine.

Of the three LIs, I liked Sarah the most. It's funny, because Sarah isn't the prettiest of them all. But it's not about looks. What makes her special to me is the fact that Sarah met Maddie, talked to her about horses, and so on. It was only five minutes of interaction, but nevertheless, now there's a unique connection between the main character and Sarah through his daughter. I don't know how best to explain it to you, I just feel that it's precisely because of this connection that Sarah is closest and dearest to me. I'm looking forward to the scene where Sarah and MC finally realize that the girl they've been talking about all this time is the main character's daughter. I know I'm going to cry...

Hayley is wonderful, but she's too young. Of course, it's a shame she was beaten as a child. I don't see her as a future girlfriend or wife; she's like a daughter to me, a good little girl who needs to be taken care of.

Lisa seems like a good option, but she has a mother who's capable of anything.

Of the supporting characters, I liked Linda the best. She's beautiful, modest (unlike Haley's friend), and has known MC for a long time. It's a shame she's not LI.

of the 3 LI's I agree Sarah is the best despite Lisa and Hayley looking much better however Madelyne (the sister) is the best girl IMO

I 100% agree with this. The worst part for me was her ultimatum if the MC doesn't open up enough to her liking. She talks about open communication but then entirely neglects his feelings. At that point I just walked out.

Emily is one of the reasons why I'm not fond of Hailey's path. I don't mind Emily being the way she is, but I don't like how the MC acts toward her. This guy can be very assertive when he wants to be, but he lets Emily walk all over him. If he knows or notices something about her that the player can't know, then we need to be told why he's allowing her to behave in a way he wouldn't allow his own child.

Lisa, so far, has been great. They're mostly just spending time together and getting to know each other. She also betrays a bit of a submissive side after the meeting if you kissed her before.

I'm curious about how things will progress when only going on Sarah's path at the start and dumping her. I'm sure that Hailey will get involved again when working on the development project, and Lisa will be a stranger we can get to know professionally. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be new jump-on points for their routes, but I'm also aware of how much work this kind of branching is.

nah I like Hailey the best too. I mean I don't have a problem with Sarah either I do think Sarah is a bit more fun and likeable but im drawn towards Hailey more. But I can see why you would say is a bit aggressive in the relationship , she can come across a bit pushy when it comes to the MC opening not alot but like once or twice she was. Tho to be fair she doesn't really know the MC is grieving if I recall she only knows he had a dead wife and it wasn't recent , I think she would treat him different if she knew it has only been a month since he lost his daughter.

As Lily is probably the Lily MC was supposed to date before he hooked up with Ella, revisiting that opportunity after Maddie died gives me the vibe of "Ella was a mistake in the first place". While I'm personally not completely averse to the idea, I think it goes too much against the MC's characterization and the game's narrative in general.

No. It's very frustrating. Just like Ella is so annoying for keeping so many secrets. MC is even more frustrating for continuing to let her have secrets. I'm fairly certain he won't read them until after Tracy (to avoid confusion) stumbles upon them and read them. She'll tell him he should read them.

That's what I thought, it's a plot device. A very frustrating one I might say, especially because it doesn't make sense. I totally understand him not reading them while she was alive, but after her death he should have read them right away, maybe even read some parts to Maddie.

I understand you need to keep secrets for drama effects, but still.
