Glad you got through! The game's logic can be tricky. There is actually a 'Detective Mode' for those situations—it's part of the supporter subscription, which is a great way to back the dev. (Though if you're feeling tech-savvy, a little HTML tweaking can also do the trick, but that's a whole other story!

To be honest it was probably a little my fault as well. I never read the part with the monks. I read a little at first, and it can be interesting if you want the whole thing but the story got so far fetched I only skim through most of the text unless some lewd stuff to introduce the scene properly and the conclusions. And that part was something with Alonso letting me know something but I thought the game will tell me if he has anything new to tell me. After that, I was a little more careful with the end of dialogue conclusions/quest and I progressed a lot without any problems.

Overview:
You play as a priest sent to a convent of nuns to investigate a series of mysterious incidents involving attacks on the nuns when they sleep.
The nuns share the monastery with an order of monks, with a wall keeping them apart to ensure they all remain celibate. During your stay at the monastery, you may also visit the School for Young Women that the nuns are running and take confessions from people from the nearby town.​

NVM, I thought I was stuck, just had to talk to all the monks again, check what was new and wait for a bunch of days.
Sometimes this game is not the best at letting you know what you have to do.

Can you tell me what you did? Cause none of the monks have changed and I am stuck at the same spot.

Download NotePad++ then do the following:

1) open the "Index.html" file with the Editor.
2) Search for "setup.gc" and then click next.
3) When you see "setup.gc = function ()" below that is the return <Number>.
4) change the number to 46792755.
5) Save and exit, now launch the game.
6) Start a new game or load a save. Now click on the Eye button to enable Veteran Detective mode.
7) When prompted with "Enter a Supporter code" box, enter 12345 as the code.

Now enjoy.

Just did the same followinng the instruction. It may be a little bit confusing as there are several " setup.gc "-s. So need to find one that has a long digitall function in my case that was like "-8*********". Just replace that function digits including a "-" to a "46792755" and that should be it. No quotation marks of course and don't forget to save it.

    return 46792755;

Then 12345 will work as the detective code in game.
