I thought it was just a discussion about the love interests. I don't think I saw anyone hating on the game itself. You are right though, Aine is fifty and will outlive MC, so no doubt her and other elves will approach things differently when it comes to romance. And even the MC points out how different the situation with the families is for him and "normal ppl"

But I quite enjoy the game, I will talk about the love interests and how I might feel about them (whether i like or dislike them) however that doesn't change the fact I like the game as a whole. Idk if I came off like I disliked it but wanted to clear it up.

I do think some ppl take it too far but just discussing likes and dislikes isn't a bad thing.

How ironic is that for those who called people 'Softcocks & Snowflakes' are the real 'sensitive' and 'toxic' people when they saw and heard their 'favourite' character being disliked by other, their words and action just show who they really are and strictly insult other fans who also like the game as a whole despite some issues.

I won't even want to join the discord cause there might be full of these people in it.

Another topic I would want to discuss about is the MC power, is his power really unique than others even they had learnt it?

I looked and on her name there is a simple true/false flag for slapping her ass at the pool and touching her ears dont know if they are prereguisites for her romance the others are more vague the dev did something with the way values are descipted in the last update probably also the reason the walkthrough mod maker wasnt happy.

You need 7 or more affection points with Aine for the romance option to even appear in the first place. There aren't any other pre-requisite flags, though you will inevitably trigger some just to get the minimum points needed.

For anyone wanting to disable Aine's romance without having to load an old save then you can do so by enabling the console (you just need an .rpy file that sets config.console = True). Setting aine_values.romance = False will disable all lewd scenes with Aine.


To address the several pages of Aine discussion (I've already done this and even offered a patch to ensure no one will "accidentally" trigger her romance flag) I'll say this: you're more welcome to voice your own opinions, but that doesn't mean the developer needs to agree with it. As I've mentioned before it seems to be a rather vocal minority that has an issue with Aine's dialogue during her sex scenes whereas as the 100+ Patreon members haven't mentioned it once. I know some will continue to disagree with that sentiment but it doesn't change the reality that they're still part of that vocal minority.

I encourage everyone here to implement either of the options I've mentioned/provided rather than clogging this thread up with even further discourse. If you're unable to do that then perhaps this game isn't for you.

Based on the dialogue you get if you turned down Cerys(without crushing her), marrying Mean Fry is actually an option. MC discusses marrying her instead of Cerys if you've turned Cerys down and mentions changing the law to allow MC to marry both if you haven't.

As for Leala, I was very pleasantly surprised by how likeable she turned out to be. Her first impression wasn't the best, but the more we learn about her, the sweeter she seems to be. She's definitely in my top 5 now, maybe even top 3.

Sounds like the dev feels Aine's dialogue could/should be more direction towards the MC, so I'm hoping that translates into some amended dialogue.

Calling her a slut is a bit much - she seems to only have sex with her partners and it seemed clear that she didn't just sleep around. She just happens to have a cum fetish, which is a good thing, but I just wasn't a fan of how she worded it to the MC.

The only person who I think was over-the-top with approaching the MC about sex was Bael, and we just found out why. I understand her line of thinking, but it was off-putting up til now. Though, she may have made her own fears come true on my run if there is no second chance now that we'll finally get to see who she really is.

All the rest of the girls are so-far-so-good besides muscle-mommy, but I'm just not really interested in tall & muscular.

He's just way too ambitious IMO. I respect his commitment to his game and what he wants to do for sure. Some Devs could do with having his level of commitment. But the levels of branching he wants to add, plus wanting to add a pregnancy %chance mechanic on top of that, which will add even MORE branching...

It would be like if sudo implemented choices at the start of the game, where you could tell the old man 'no'. Then not get in his Limo, but instead you could ride solo, go a few different ways, meet some other new random people that only exist on that route. And then eventually end up with any of the major houses, through many different paths of getting there. And have a different story with all of them, with branches upon branches. It would be insane...

Hence why The Last Challenge is joint top, with Summers Gone. In the list of "Games I am 100% certain on that I'm never going to see finished."

Ironically enough Aerion does somewhat fit under the "shy virgin" category (well, more of an innocent than shy type). All of the wards though are sheep amongst a den of redheaded lionesses, which is somewhat apt given Cerys's mom's nickname of "Tigress".

Honestly, we need more Aerion content, I hope to see more about the Grant's culture and their relation towards the MC at the Ball, which will probably be next year. Her being seemingly very innocent or reacting strongly to all the teasing towards her or the MC is a very endearing quality.

The only character that has yet to convince me is Fiadh, and I have no doubt the dev will give her enough topics of interest to get me on board.

I do wonder what Cadwgan's role in the story will be, someone to point out the MC's flaws to work on them, sort of as a "I wonder what this story would look like from another perspective".
