Aine does use partner's not partners, also the times she said "them" is a reference to "partner's genitalia" not other partners.
the only thing said that isn't 100% about Aine and/or the MC is "yours is my favourite", which does heavily imply other partners.
but you're onto something,low english proficiency might be the issue,just not on the dev's side

I can't help myself to comment once more on the shitty Aine topic due to recent comments.
The nearly 8 pages of discussion just lead to attacking/shaming each other.

It took a while with story and intro but the first scene paid of very well. I can go through story without getting too bored, love those head pops from grandpa and others (funny).
November Progress Update
Getting to November's update early since I completely spaced on October's. Last month was mostly related to the release, and I'm assuming everyone's seen the end result of that already, so I won't bore you with all the nitty-gritty. I will note that the three top items from the extra tasking list were completed: outfit selection for romanced LIs on the character detail screen, toggle for always showing pronunciation text, and updating the animations of Cerys's first QT scene.
Started making adjustments and additions to the script for Part Four. I'd like the update to extend a bit after the ball to wrap up that day before starting Chapter Three, but I also don't want to make it a huge update, so I'll see how the update looks with the revisions/additions to the ball before deciding on that.
In the bad news department, Ren'Py will not be fixing the underlying problem causing the hitch issue with the expression change and scrying stuff. Their official position is that the method I'm using is not supported for videos. It is supplied for music, but Ren'Py treats music and videos as essentially the same thing under the hood, so the same methods/functions that are available for music can technically be used for both, as is the case here. Another developer was kind enough to point out a method that might work for pre-loading the videos, so I'll be looking into that as part of this update. Worse comes to worst, I might have to go digging into the source again to see if it's something I can fix myself. Not something I'd like to do, but I'd find that preferable to abandoning the current form of the expression change and scrying stuff or leaving the issue alone.

I'd like an option for that but you have to go back and replay it to get that option... So you need to know it's coming... hence the issue.

I honestly wasn't expecting to come to the thread and see Aine hate lol I mean she is fifty, I kind of assumed she had partners. I also don't automatically imagine my "partner" fucking other dudes just because they mention a past relationship. Like damn some ppl are hella sensitive if they get their panties in a bunch because an optional LI had past relationships. It unfortunately goes astray with so many insults and words being completely misread, but that's not really the issue, mentioning having a past relationship is fine, talking about having your past partners cum drip out of you is not fine, for me. That's a graphic image, that I don't want.
And yeah, a break up option at the very moment she starts up that talk would be great and feel very cathartic I agree.
I looked and on her name there is a simple true/false flag for slapping her ass at the pool and touching her ears dont know if they are prereguisites for her romance the others are more vague the dev did something with the way values are descipted in the last update probably also the reason the walkthrough mod maker wasnt happy.
