The thing is, that user doesn't have to prove anything because it's already widely known most men find girl-on-girl action hot. The most searched term on Pornhub for example is lesbian and while I'm sure a fair number of those searches are by women a large number also have to be men for it to trend that highly as consistently as it does. If you guys want to show us that isn't true, it's on you to come up with some data to prove it because it's you lot that are going against common prevailing knowledge. Go on, find some scientific study that shows most men don't like seeing lesbian sex. Until then I'm going to keep believing what most of us already know, that most guys find that shit sexy. You people are a small vocal minority.

That some people get so butthurt over the possibility of girl on girl in this game when the dev has said it's going to be completely optional is hilarious.
Is an adult game without girl-on-girl action TRULY an adult game?

I THINK NOT!

Either way, making lesbian content optional is the right call. It appeases the nuts that call it "NTR" (like... what? xD) and keeps it in the game.

As a red blooded male, girl-on-girl action is W. :D

On a side note, love this game. Can't wait to review it!

This means nothing. Every respected sociologist would tell you that polls taht have less than 1000 votes are worthles and then you must take in cosideration sex, age groups etc. and have a lot of supporting questions so results won't be biased.
This whole conversation shouldn't even be necessary. As has been stated multiple times in this thread, all lesbian content will be completely avoidable.

Regarding the survey, I'll respond to you in a spoiler.

So after the slowest playthrough possible. I finally and unfortunately made it to the end. And man that whole battle sequence was pretty sweet. Lotta combat in renpy is hit or miss. But it's been all hits for me here. I might've even rolled back a few times just to see the small variances in the chaos. That one on one with Cerys though is still unmatched.

Can't believe I'm saying this but.... I want more game in this porn game.

Can't get it to work with Joiplay, anyone had success?
Yeah, although I'm pretty sure it took a lot of trying. I kept switching Renpy versions till one worked (using the edit feature found by holding the game icon), and even once I got it running it was a bit buggy. Don't think I could access one of the subheadings in the menu without crashing, and typing in the MC name kept causing errors (pasting from clipboard rather than typing out the name helped).

If none of the renpy versions work you mighy need to update your joiplay and renpy versions.

Thanks I'm trying that now

very simple WT-mod / choice guide
optional - cheat menu to adjust points (button in bottom right corner to open menu)

View attachment 5011306

edit: updated to Ch. 2 Part 1
I downloaded both of them, unzipped them and put them in the game folder but the walkthrough mod/choice guide isn't working. The cheat menu is. Did I do something wrong?

should just work, if cheat menu is working - you did everything right
keep in mind - first few choices in game are just fluff and not marked by WT, so try to play a bit further

Danv It worked. I have a bad habit of rushing somethings instead of waiting a few
nah i'd say it was fair not seeing the WT mod work for the first few choice's would make people doubt its installed (properly)

a lot off walktrough's add in a message when its a fluff choice like "*this choice doesn't affect paths*" or something along those lines
so even when not highlighted you could see the WT mod then

HiHaHo I see what you mean. Like how some people put in the description (if there are no choices highlighted then whichever you choose doesn't effect the story)

August Progress Update
Quick and dirty: Renders, anims, and sound done for roughly half the script.

Had a family emergency in the middle of the month that sapped my productivity for a few days, but all's good now, thankfully.

Got the remaining two animations back for the big "quality-time" scene, and sent another two off on commission. Had to send those to a new animator as I only had the old one for a limited time before they moved on from HS2 work. There are two remaining animations that I'll take a stab at myself. I don't particularly enjoy animating, but unless the game makes enough that I can hire on steady, reliable work, it's best if I can care of a few anims here and there.

The script is up a few hundred lines (8300-8400 total range) from where it was last update. The first half of the work I've done is probably going to take less time than the upcoming second half. The big QT scene is complete, but the two smaller ones are still to do, as is the work to create the new characters introduced at the ball and preparing everyone's styles (outfits, hair, etc). I'd like to release quicker, smaller updates to the tune of 3-4 per year, so if the script continues to grow I may split the ball into its own update. The new dev process of rendering/animating/scoring as I go will allow me to spin out an update pretty quickly if I reach a point partway through where I'd like to put together a release.

This update will introduce "mini-scenes", basically small scenes of intimacy with the LIs with no animations and limited dialogue. A bunch of twenty-somethings, and one still-young elf, cohabitating and, potentially, pursuing romantic relationships would obviously lead to a whole lot of intimate moments. Ignoring that would seem to do a disservice to the 'reality' of the world and characters, but trying to make full scenes for all those would bog down the pace of the story and take up a whole lot of time and resources. So, these smaller scenes with a bit of dialogue and a couple dozen renders are what I've decided on to depict those moments. I may wind up putting dialogue/text in for the whole scene while keeping the overall limited scope, since it seems most folks have responded very positively to the writing. Major moments/developments will always get the full scene treatment. Not sure yet if I'll include the mini-scenes in the Events memory section, but I'm leaning towards yes and just marking them as mini.

The third preview for Chapter Two will be up for Practitioner tiers and above once I've picked out the renders and typed it up.

Thanks for the support, stay safe, and take care of yourselves!

That sounds great! although note sure if a bit too optimistic, not many devs can pull off 4 updates a year with enough content, guess we will see how it goes, not a big deal for me if the content is enjoyable.

Man, what a great fucking game in every regard, but jesus, that's a lot of frontloading information without any visuals to help remember all these names and families and what they do.

Also, you cannot just call someone "Leala" and tell me it's pronounced "Lay-all-uh" or "Cerys" and tell me it's "Kay-rizz" or something. "Seofunday" is "Say-fun-day". It just doesn't make sense.

Call them John and have me pronounce it as "Pickle", why don't you, lol.

Wild game though, super interesting.

Shamelessly double posting here because damn, playing chapter two.. I fucking love the expressive eyes all the characters have, it was a big reason to try this out, but Orlaith's eyes as she confronts Leala are super well done.

I refuse to accept that you pronounce "Cadwgan" as "Ka-doo-gan" though.

I've come around on Leala and Cerys though so who knows.

There is a glossary/codex in the top left corner that shows the characters, their names, their relationship to the MC, key story beat bullet points and who they're connected to. The "Eorthe" part breaks down the world based on the information we've gotten, including the families the LI's belong to.

I just went and checked to make sure I wasn't crazy.
