To each their own, but for me Cerys' "ambiguity" was just right. I don't remember (and I really think I would) her ever mentioning anything about any other guys, aside from one off-handed comment about having dated a bit before meeting MC, but never liking anyone before him. She's also aggressively bisexual, and since she doesn't mention any specifics about her past, it's entirely possible she only ever dated girls previously.
As I said before, Aine having a history is to be expected, given her age, I just really don't like hearing about it. It's a personal deal-breaker for me. I'd still be all in on Aine if not for her need to rub other guys' dicks in MC's face. I can only imagine a certain type of guy getting turned on by that kind of talk, and those guys usually just watch from the corner or inside a closet.
That's what I was saying before. The sudden cuck talk at the start of her scene was completely out of left field. It made zero sense based on how her character was written up to that point, and she was one of my favorite girls right up until then.
I also find it worrisome, as that kind of content being sprung out of the blue partway through development is usually a sign that dev plans to escalate it as development continues. Wouldn't be a problem if dev had written Aine that way from the start and gave us a more informed choice about her early on, but this way makes dev seem deliberately deceptive.
So far, it seems like Cerys, Anwen, and Aerion are safe, either confirmed or heavily implied that they have no sexual pasts to speak of. Leala is still a wild card. Fiadh and Bael are both described as "wild". Fiadh, as we know, is a streamer that is rebelling against her parents, so could end up going down the camwhore route, which is another deal-breaker for me. Bael is confirmed to be a "spicy" cosplayer, which doesn't bode well at all.
The story is interesting enough to keep me playing, as well as having at least 3 solid LI choices (Cerys, Anwen, and Aerion). I was holding out hope for more of the wards to be keepers, but this sudden disturbing development with Aine does not inspire confidence at all about the other wards.
