It's too early in the story to say, but this game seems to be written with harem in mind. I do think eventually he will be able to marry them all, even the wards, but that's probably by the time this story ends.

I'm not sure i get it, this is how most/all AVN are. Player choices impact relationships, sometimes endings but the stories are always almost entirely kinetic (outside a small variations or fairly short branching.)

Well, yeah, but at least they could add a sad/angry face for the rejected girl, or at least a line telling us how she feels. Here, if you reject a girl, they all act as if nothing happened, as if the moment had no emotional impact whatsoever.

If you choose the platonic route with Cerys, Aine and Anwen get new dialogue in part 3 indicating a possible future where we might marry one of them instead as our Grym wife. I'm not certain it'll go that way, but Cymhen did say in the beginning that if either of you (Rane and Cerys) weren't comfortable, the family would find another Grym woman for you to marry.

There is plenty of talk early on about, if MC or Cerys are unwilling to marry, MC marrying Anwen or Aine instead. Wouldn't be surprised if we get a choice to break off the engagement to Cerys in favor of marrying one of them.

Personally, Cerys and Anwen are two of my favorite LIs, especially after learning they both saved themselves for MC after all the years apart.

Aine was a favorite as well, until I got to her first sex scene in this update, and she went on a 30-minute monologue about how much she loves other guys' dicks and cum. That's a deal-breaking turn-off for me and felt like a pretty huge deviation from her character development up to that point. She had previously mentioned dating other guys, but never even implied that she'd gone any further than dinner with them.

I don't care that she's "experienced", and given her age, it's to be expected that she is, but I just really don't care to hear about it, especially during a sex scene, and the way she describes her sex life is just pretty gross overall. As soon as I saw that monologue, I jumped to the main menu, and started a new game, avoiding her entirely.

Honestly, my biggest complaint is that if you choose not to pursue one of the redhead trinity, you miss out on some content with the others, and probably a lot more later on. It's like dev went out of his way to make one of the main 3 LIs unlikable, and then punishes players for not liking her, which feels like a big middle finger to the players.

Now that I'm caught up, I will say I was expecting a bit more conflict between the wards, or at least for the conflict between Leala and Orlaith to last a bit longer, especially since their families are supposed to have different interests. But everyone already feels loyal to each other.

I hope we get a proper antagonist reveal "soon" at his public introduction because while I love the setting and the characters the story on this last chapter has become less interesting.

Their families are kind of antagonistic, but the wards aren't. We're told that these women all kind of grew up together, and Orl/Lea grew close during Orl's wardship at the Cenrics until she was abused. There wasn't any conflict there because Orl realized Lea had nothing to do with it and she never got the chance to actually be a friend.

Honestly when a dev starts inserting that stuff... that's it for me, there's always a reason for it and if they refuse to admit it, only means it'll keep popping up where you least want it to. I'm playing it now, just so I can see for myself, and if it's that bad I'll be straight up deleting this and hitting ignore on this devs stuff, NTR and NTS is fine if you know what you're getting into but when someone pretends they aren't doing that, then slides it in where you don't expect it... NOPE

That's what I was saying before. The sudden cuck talk at the start of her scene was completely out of left field. It made zero sense based on how her character was written up to that point, and she was one of my favorite girls right up until then.

Bael is confirmed to be a "spicy" cosplayer, which doesn't bode well at all.

The story is interesting enough to keep me playing, as well as having at least 3 solid LI choices (Cerys, Anwen, and Aerion). I was holding out hope for more of the wards to be keepers, but this sudden disturbing development with Aine does not inspire confidence at all about the other wards.

It's one thing to have a past. It's another to feel the need to tell me about it. I never got the hype for that type of stuff in games personally. I mean I suppose I can see it being used to stroke the ego. Like you're so much better or whatever else. But sometimes they just give you the play by play for no reason. And I'm just like..... why tho?

But I suppose I'll see what's what when I eventually get around to the update.
