The story so far is banal and therefore also the approach to sex.
The characters (although I like them as a whole) could be improved (breasts not proportionate), I find them a little grainy and lacking in detail.
The gameplay is not the best but in my opinion even so it would not be a problem.
The scenery is also essential and therefore makes the game as a whole unpleasant.
I was not able, as you can see in the screenshot, to trigger the events of two characters, I don't know if due to my inability or because I did not follow a certain chronology of events.
In my opinion, the game needs a radical overhaul due to the aforementioned shortcomings.
I found no bugs.

I do not want to make comparisons with others but out there are devs (they are few) with which it is difficult to stand up to the competition.
However, everyone does their job and the market is varied and leaves room for different types of skills.
Games that in my opinion were bad, have instead achieved consistent successes, everyone has their own tastes and chooses as they like best.

I understand it won't be a great help but it is my honest judgment.

Actually there are some great criticisms in there. To begin, the story is developing as I get the game working and doing it's thing. The entire storyline is tied together into a bigger campaign, and the sex scenes are as easy as I can make them without causing convoluted ways for people to get to them. As for characters, yep, some of them are out of proportion, because that seems to be what more people want. That being said, there will be normal characters as well. They can't all be huge tits and asses. As far as what you consider banal and what others do, I'd need more examples of what you think it's missing and what makes it banal to understand what you truly mean.
The two storylines you're having issues with ... one of them seems to have a small glitch I didn't catch, my fault ... but you either need to get the office key, or get into the office when you see both James and Glenda's pins on the map and catch them. The second looks like you just need to visits the strip club and talk to the bartender to reserve a dance. If that isn't working, I'd like to see why so I can fix it if you can show me.
I'd need some examples of the scenery to know what you meant there ... I have redone the house fronts and front doors in the latest updates, but I'd need more specifics to help that.
As you can see, there are no bugs in the game .. which is oddly the biggest report people seem to complain about. As we discussed, complete bullshit after you tried the game itself (which I appreciate). That and the grainy graphics, which I have compared to some of the most popular games on this site and while a LITTLE grainy, it's not far off from those who have tons of subscribers. I'm not terribly worried about that until I can upgrade my systems like they did.

THAT is a criticism I can do something with. Whether you are into the game or not, you tried it and gave me a CONSTRUCTIVE opinion, and that I can get behind. Thank you

Is the scene where you confront James and Glenda broken for everyone or is it just me? Halfway through the scene, when you order james to fuck her in the ass it cuts back to the shot of Glenda's office with an empty chair and stays on that until the end of the scene.

Also who is Dan? The hints tell me that the next step for Rebecca is to "talk to her at Dan's".
Nevermind, Dan's is apparently the bar you meet James in.

I really want to like this, I'm a fan of the... style of the character designs but this is one of the buggiest things I've played on this site, really hope that's just temporary.

By buggy I mean that the back button and rollback seem to jump back to random points, days sometimes a week prior, or if you go home at night after you catch your daughter watching the other two she'll be there in the hallway spying again and freak out if you click on her. Ummm.... the neighbor in the yard that isn't Rebecca's exists and you can click on her but if you do she'll just blink and you'll be transported back to your yard, there's more but I don't remember and I can't load up the game and check what they were right now.

Ok, there are some helpful things in there, thank you ... you mean the game back and rollback buttons at the bottom take you back to weird places?
The daughter in the hallway should be there, there will be expansion on that coming up. So, that's an unfinished story piece that I'm actually filling in. Good to know you're seeing it. Rene (The other neighbor) hasn't been programmed yet, She should take you back to the yard until I fill her in. Good to know you're seeing that as well.

In my opinion, the approach to sex must contain suspense, the sex scene even if perfectly elaborated with perfect characters from beginning to end is always banal if it is not preceded by a dialogue that triggers the imagination of the player in the context of a good story.
Now I repeat, it doesn't mean anything that there are tons of devs that work in this industry and have been successful (as you say) with games much worse than this, it's not my thing I'm sorry.
I'll give you an example, if you really care about my tastes, ToN which is one of the best games and among those with the most success ever (even if I rated it the best, they deserve it for the improvements that each new game gets and for gaining the full trust of the supporters) from a certain point on I got bored and I abandoned him.
As I wrote in other posts, this is a very difficult sector because writing sex stories and animating them without slipping into banality is impossible, I mean that when a game of this kind is about to become boring the dev should hurry to finish it and this does not happen because no one easily gives up on their success and tries to squeeze as much as possible (although in my opinion, the dev himself is bored to death) instead of starting with a new project.
To conclude, my criticisms are aimed at the entire sector which owes its general success to many who are bored with classic porn and are looking for new stimuli in these types of projects that feed the imaginations according to personal trends.
I follow many projects without playing with them (also due to lack of time), and this will remain one of them, I have fun in this forum, it helps me to get out of the normal routine and to recharge, and I am more interested in the technological evolution of the entire sector. , I'm not a hardcore gamer and I don't like wasting time.
Then if my opinions can help someone this makes me even happier, in any case, every review of mine, even the most negative, is not aimed at demolishing anyone but rather to stimulate them to do better in their own interest because I believe that anyone who comes close to this sector will have to face hard work that is not just about computer knowledge (it would be the minimum) but the intellectual knowledge that every story writer should know and the latter really seems to me an impossible mission, especially in the porn industry.

Sorry to see you go. I can understand the frustration, really. Have you considered SubscribeStar or Itch.io ? Patreon has a reputation of being strict and unreasonable towards authors. I stopped using them years ago due to this.
Consider the alternatives, and do not let the whiners and those who have no useful lives win - that is what they are counting on.

There are no thread, even for successful games, without criticisms even worse than those you have suffered, but, also consider, many have tried to help you with suggestions and also by testing the game by reporting problems and that you have used at least to make the game without bugs (at least I have not encountered any).
I mean it's not all as bad as you think, in my opinion you should continue using this experience to improve this or even a next project, giving up like this doesn't help.
I'm sorry if patreon blocked you, but this too can be overcome by starting a new project and abandoning this one, I don't see anything wrong with that.
However, I remain of the opinion that this is a difficult area especially for people like you who take the job seriously and it honors you.
I don't think I'm the best person to advise you but, from the little I know in this sector, to get satisfactory results you have to work in a team and invest something in equipment.
I hope you will come back with something that can entertain us and have fun you.

Damn, that sucks man. I was gonna go through .40 and provide feedback on areas where the script could use adjustment but I haven't had a chance to do that yet. Sorry someone decided to be a dick. I might still get around to looking at the script for this version at some point, and if I see anything worth changing I'll probably still post it but it's a shame your journey had to end this way. No matter what happens you deserve respect for trying to see your friend Jay's vision through despite the setbacks.

That's a shame. I hope that that my criticism a while back didn't contribute to you leaving this project. I really liked where you were going with this, it was just a little buggy. I sincerely hope you change your mind because I thought there was a lot of potential here.

This game is awesome. Sure it has some flaws (which every game has) BUT i realy like your style and hope to see more from you! People often say "the game" has potential, but its the creator who should get the credit. Therefor, thanks man
