I actually rather liked Finnabair once she finally got her head out of her ass, and I am going to miss her. But I agree that having sex with her is a not much of a temptation. Even ignoring the prospect of cheating on one of the other LIs, Finnabair just doesn't seem like a good fit. We've known her for what, something like two weeks? And a substantial portion of that time was spent with her hating our guts. Call me old fashioned, but I'm looking for something more in my partners.
Combine that with her general sense of immaturity and the whole 'long lived, very alien race on the brink of war with us' baggage* and I'm perfectly happy to keep it platonic with her. Maybe that could have changed if she'd had more time to develop, but, well...
*EDIT: Oh, and the fact that you need to start flirting with her long before she pulls her head out of her ass!

Regarding the attempt on the MC's life after Medb invited him to stay in Alfheim:
She wouldn't do shit since she as an elf observes their customs to the T, and we see that she doesn't try to strike again until she's allowed by the local laws.
I admit the route where the MC takes the actual shit on her would'e been nice, but at that point you might as well kill her since this is her fate one way or the other.

Yeah, I thought all those things too. I'm not a totally insensitive Jarhead... most of the time... In fact, just between me and you... that post was me role playing just one of my play through's. She does come around towards the end. I think she learns to like and admire MC and I also think she gets killed trying to emulate his cause. If that is indeed the case, I hope to avenge her death in most if not all of my MC incarnations.

Yeah, she's another very well written character. She grows on you even through the haughty Alfar bitch persona. Her death is really sad no matter what you think of her character. Ceolag is a real bastard if you ask me.

Anyways, I have saves both with and without having sex with her.

Hey everyone,
Just a quick update for this week as nothing extraordinary happened... which is usually a good thing.
The new PC hasn't arrived yet but once it does I'll be moving all the game-related stuff over to the new PC which will take some time.
I'll try to keep the downtime as short as possible.
The second step will soon be to set up a NAS for both PCs to share a place for the scene files and images.
Not sure if I can/want to share the DAZ library as that is quite big already and I fear that the performance will take a huge hit when it's using the NAS for loading assets.
Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated on the progress from the PC front.
The numbers for this week:
87 new static renders for a total of 332
1 new animation for a total of 2 (1+1... didn't even need the calculator for this)
213 new lines in the script file for a total of 1106 (I did use the calculator for this...)
