Personally I like that he confirmed we can go with the "Renegade" playthrough, rejecting everyone and it will still fit with the planned ending. Mostly because I don't see a how I could play this in any other way. Everyone can die a gruesome death as long as no one touches Jess, Kate, Mac and Finn's dadTldr: Post really interesting answers from Ceo, dispelling and conforming a lot of our speculation.

Yeah, some of my saves are likely to end this way. I still like Medb though and the jury is out on Fionna. I'm not sure how to reconcile MC remains neutral with having a romance route, friend route and no route with each faction. Anyway - still have
a Medb save (friend route only I think),
a Fionna save (wait and see I guess),
the save where I stayed with Kajia but burned bridges with the parents (and will double down on that) ... should be interesting, I suspect that's the one he was talking about when he said that people did things that he didn't expect.
And my Kate save - where I'm only with Kate ... have a feeling that's the one where I'm on no one's space ship.

I think I'm going to go back and re-do some early game - try to get as many points as I can with everyone who is not a Templar and 0 points or less with everyone who is. I'm not sure who some of the factions are in this, but I know I have no interest in being on the Templars space ship. It will probably crash from too many pilots and no navigator.

As a pitchfork-wielding user, I'm still not sure how neutrality works in this ... I mean if you're on the Medb "love" path but the Templar "no path" is that really neutral? I guess he just means we won't actually be taking part in any fighting between the factions? Not sure.
I think I might have also found the root of the disconnect (for me). I like urban fantasy, but not Jim Butcher or Simon Green.
