I thought she also shows up in chapter 1?
On subway or something like that, but I might be misremembering.
On holidays without PC so can't check, but think she shows up twice.

Nah the subway girl is ... wussername. Shows up in the bar later and offers to take you home with her. Offers to take you shopping with her to ... a sort of semi-legit side girl, just blanking on her name right now.

I firmly believe it was the unknown third party that's colluding with the demons that is responsible. I also firmly believe they have agents amongst both the Templars and the Alfar.
Anyone protecting said agents needs to be burned along with them. So if, for example, the Templars know some of their members are involved but refuse to submit them to justice because they're Templars, I'm quite happy burning the whole organization to the ground until they do.

I'd say it would be the same with the Alfar, but I honestly don't see them standing for that shit.

I'm fairly certain that there are bad apples on both sides, this doesn't feel like a clear good vs evil scenario. I 100% agree that it was said third party that was behind Fin's death and I'm 110% certain that NONE of the potential LI's was involved.

I don’t think Medb would be as sure or the Alfar would be ready for war if they weren’t sure - didn’t have evidence or witnesses- hopefully Medb or someone will give us more info before we go back.

Remember, the plot has to accomodate the killing of Finnabair by MC himself.

They don't need proof, they want war and are satisfied with any pretext to have it. Furthermore, they had already tried this tactic on Medb by trying to kill her with a weapon that must have been in the possession of the Templars

If you stare, the MC comments that she's familiar somehow before the sister interrupts you. That's not so subtle foreshadowing if I've ever seen it.

Sometimes, the game prompts you for a reason.
