Ceo must take in account that fans and supporters (I bought the game and I will subscribe his patreon) wish for a more aggressive route against Templars. It may be influence of all my youth playing Assassin's Creed games, or even by members of some "secret societies" that I know personally and brag they are the legacy of those templas, but they are repulsive to me even as a concept and I would like to have an opportunity of following the steps of Clement V in this game. Something akin to Green Lantern's Emerald Twillight if possible.
I bought the game on Steam and I am a patreon supporter as well. My response is speak for yourself and no CEO doesn't at all. He has his own plans for the unfolding of his story. He doesn't have to bow to anyone. I don't want a more aggressive Templar path, the opposite. I'd like to see the Templars redeemed and I was hoping the MC may clean house with the Templars and restore them towards a better path. If that doesn't happen so be it. It isn't my story to tell.

The Templars of Assassins Creed bear little resemblance to the Templars of history. Assassins Creed is a game, not a history lesson. It's pretty concerning you let games influence you so much that you bear a fanatical hatred for a group a people from a 1000 years ago.

I can't speak for anyone else, but my dislike for the Templars has nothing to do with Assassin's Creed. I only played the first one, a little bit and that was when it first came out ... 15(ish) years ago. I barely remember it and am certainly not influenced by it. The Templars historically I'm not a big fan of but I also understand that the mythological templars that have become popular in the last few decades are not the historic ones. My beef against the Templars is all about the ones in this game and the only way I'd want to see them "redeemed" is if I was in charge and all of the current members were gone - all of them. Also, I'd want it to be out in the open - no more secrets or conspiracies and I'd have at least one Alfar in the council so that, even if they didn't always get their own way, they knew exactly what the Templars were doing and planning. (No more paranoia.)

I don't really expect that to happen though. My biggest complaint so far is that Finn is gone. She would have been my Li for this game by a long stretch. Unless there is a new character introduced, if I have a Li in the game at all, she will be a distant second to Finn. Right now I'm leaning toward Kate. Fionna is still a possibility but it will depend on what she's hiding and whether I'm ok with it. I'm guessing that will be a no, I'm not. All of the others are out - a few of them as friends maybe (Medb, Elia, Kari) but not as a Li.

Edit: Oh and the Patreon thing - I can't imagine a worse idea than a game written by committee - where everyone votes on every major decision.

The Templars have become the go to for every ridiculous nutcase and conspiracy theorist out there. I think there was much about the historical Templars to be admired. We will just have to disagree re-historical Templars.

The Templars in this game we agree sort of. I would like to see a fair few of the Templars gone and definitely a complete change in leadership and the Templars set upon a different path. I think that is probably outside Ceo's plans for this game. I could be wrong of course.

I didn't really like Finn that much. The bitch tried to kill my character twice. Too much crazy for me. I'm not surprised she got killed. She seems to be the only one killed. So I think she probably went off half cocked and did something stupid and got herself killed. The MC could have killed her twice! Assuming it was the Templars and not the mysterious third party up to their tricks again. We shall see.

Agree completely. They tend to turn in to disasters. As the saying goes too many cooks spoil the broth. Or something like that.

I don't think so, this time. Finn had changed or MC had managed to change the opinion of Medb and Finn about peace being possible (and desirable) it would be odd if Finn then went and attacked without cause. My theory, admittedly based on not much, is that she went as a peace envoy to the Templars and someone - or some group - that didn't want peace killed her.

But, in a way, it's the things you dislike about Finn that made her my favorite. In a world where everyone around MC was harboring secrets, and politicking, and plotting - Finn (for good or ill) wore her heart on her sleeve. There was no need to wonder what she wast thinking because she'd tell you. If she was plotting against you, you'd know because she'd be standing in front of you with a sword telling you to prepare to meet your maker. If she suddenly decided she was attracted to you, you'd know because she'd invite you to her favorite, secret spot to go skinny dipping. If you wanted her opinion, she'd tell you and it would never occur to her to soften the blow. She was a direct contrast to everyone else around MC except for Kate, Elia, and Jessica - who might be honest but who know even less about that world than MC does.

Fair enough. I am a big believer in no secrets in a relationship. For me, wearing your heart of your sleeve is one thing, trying to kill me twice is another. It tends to set of a lot of red flags. I tend to take stuff like that personally. Being a game, I explored the various Finn paths from killing her straight up to letting her live and screwing her. The reality is, I don't trust her not to stab me in my sleep because I pissed her off. My MC has enough dramas without taking on that. A shame, I love blondes.

I think that in those witch trials, when women were burned in batches, they were guided by roughly the same logic and used the same level of argumentation and evidence as some people in this thread. Kaija is a brainwashed fanatic, but for some reason it is the kind and sweet champions for justice and piety who are going to stone her for wearing a slutty skirt. They even speak on behalf of everyone, just like those witch hunters. Jeez, what a funny thread. :KEK: :KEK: :KEK:

Nah, she wouldn't kill you in your sleep. She'd let you get 8 hours, have breakfast and a shower and then tell you to get your sword. Trying to kill me was just part of the heart on the sleeve thing - she'd been training for longer than MC has been alive and this was her chance to fight a Templar.

A man of principles, I respect that. Usually, unhinged hatred for Kaija's guts and boundless worship of Finn's ass go hand in hand. :KEK:

And the next time she gets the urge to prove herself...
You can have Finn all to yourself.

Nah, I hate everybody:LOL: . I love Elea and I like Fiona. Medb I'm on the ropes still. I'll wait and see.

Did you find a unicorn or something?
Yep, I did. She feels the same way I do. We shower together every night and catch up with the details of our days. We know each other passwords, etc. In 20yrs never had a reason to doubt her. My ex wife, well that was another story.

Well, in that case congratulations, man. I hope you realize how lucky you are (sounds like you do). I hope it stays that way for you.

Fiona is hunting for a guy in Australia called Joshy. While Medb wants to freeze his nuts off and Elea has the secret code to your computer. And Kaija wants to hang this Joshy character upside down and gut him for breakfast. I think that is all the secrets ;):sneaky::LOL:

Nah mate only a few things about Medb

Kaija is brainwashed as most of the members of her order and you can see it in the dialogue held among her and MC before going to Neverwhere for the first time. Actually, there are routes where LP is low and she actually confess she sees her relationship only as a mission. The skirt is found among her clothes after she worked until late and arrived while MC was sleeping. It is slutty and not associated to work, especially with she went to work dressing another apparel.

depends which ones. Side-girls not really. Kaija obviously. Fiona probably. Elea probably not, but who knows, haven't seen her in a while.

My ideal ending would be me & Kaija walking off into the sunset and forgetting about the templars, elves and all that shit.

I only care about Kaija.
