Yeah, I know, I proposed that she was Tuatha De Dannan more than once, and Macha specifically already. :ROFLMAO:

By the way, I'm surprised nobody in here seems to have mentioned Kaija and Linnae's cameos in Glowing Stones yet.
I was busy teasing HP sorry but I saw them and loved it !

Yeah, not like those living near the German border speaking sønderjysk. Granted, there are completely unintelligible Swedish dialects too.
My Grandmother grew up on Österlen and when she spoke in her childhood dialect I understood like half of it and I grew up like 30km away :)

By the way, I'm surprised nobody in here seems to have mentioned Kaija and Linnae's cameos in Glowing Stones yet.
Promise I will as soon as I play the new update ;)

Found it, thanks guys. What a great idea, Maviarab
Thanks. A lot of the lore discussion/questions were getting lost in the thread so thought be useful to have it all in one dedicated place. Anything you think you should be in there just mention it in the thread :)

Not my thing plus I utterly, despise cameo's in VN's.
He do have them occasionally, just not about the correct LI in this game :)

Haha. Well, I'm from all over the place. Mum from Stockholm and dad from Helsingborg, I don't really have a distinct dialect.

  • Yay, update!

OT I know, but definitely think is relevant
Yep I usually mention them as the Nordic countries all those 5 hehe. But in my country Portugal is more common to say "Escandinavos" ofc Scandinavian in English. Same happens with The Nederland's and I use that in English but in Portuguese we were raised to learn it as Holanda/Holland and ofc the correct in Portuguese is "Paises Baixos"/Nederland but I'll never get used to it, too old already haha.

Personally, I’ve always kind of grouped Finland in with the other Scandinavian countries when using the term "Scandinavia," even though it’s not a huge deal. We could also just do like pitao and refer to them all as the Nordic countries. As for the Netherlands, in French we often say "Hollande," which is actually just a region, but the name stuck and is still commonly used to refer to the whole country, along with "Pays-Bas." That other French name refers to the fact that much of the country’s land is low-lying, below sea level, just like the English name, which basically means the same thing.

I followed the path of Fiona, her secrets, I think they ate people there at least, and her family at least comes from Dracula or Hannibal Lecter, I don't agree to anything less, because she's too creepy. Or maybe it's Freya, and her family, uh, Kratos, helpus.
Well, it's technically too early to dismiss anything, but uh, I'd like to point out that Fiona and her family are Irish (or at least believed to be, Neverwhere and Tir Na Nog being what they are), not Wallachian (Romanian) or Greek. :sneaky:
At first I was thinking "Banshee", but that mythology doesn't really fit her character as well. Upon looking into Celtic gods and goddesses, I noted one named "Queen Medb" (familiar name? ;)), and a goddess of war and death named "Badb".

Stealthy. Aware of the Alfar. Dead shot with an ancient bow. Has a family that has done bad things. She's done bad things, but left her family. Concerned her family might do bad things to her for breaking away...

Could fit. ;)

For Fiona there are a few guesses
  1. Tuata de Danan
  2. Leahn Side
  3. Freya
  4. Macha
