Yeah, I agree the aftermatch of Finnabair assassination was a bit disappointing, I was expecting more initiative on our side, we have the murderer it was as simple as suggesting we bring her to the elven side to show goodwill and try to deescalate and if the Templars don't like that idea we have allies on our side to try to force it either way.Maybe the general story of templars, elves and other mofos is still fine, but characterization of LI's is slipping.
Kaija q&a is weak, and the walkback on her words makes her character cheap.
The way finnabairs double attempt at taking life was just brushed under the carpet is also quite weak cliche, previously bullshit like that(kaija) didnt go unchecked, but now it seems it will be the norm.
The elven adventure was already a detached slice of life episode, where the general story did not move forward much. And now ep 6 has taken an even slower pace of developing the main story.
There being no middle ground on finnabairs relationship between killing her and being her friend, even with LI's you can go neutral, friend, lover. But i guess the plotline where Sayo's actions are ignored by MC would make too much of a mess later on.
But the Elven adventure it was more than just slice of life it also gives you some context of how they think and their POV on some things, also it's one of the first adventures that actually feels like us showing initiative even if we were pushed initially.
