on Elea path, the twist is that the player almost knows for certain that she is Linnaes daughter, just not MC, Even as the "Templar Shadow" apears to help them in the club MC is pretty unaware of the whole situation.
I replayed Elea's path. Almost exclusively. I kept Linnae and Medb's paths open, but they don't affect this update. Let's say that, yes, reading all the clues, a suspicion may arise, but I find it difficult if someone doesn't give you a hint.

One thing isn't clear to me. After the chat with the woman of the lake, Nimue? Does the second sword have powers too? It's not elven, it's Nordic, but does it have powers too?

We suspect it is (Look in the Lore and Legends thread linked in the Opening) the one who can probably shed a light would be Fiona or Elea

What clue? I know a little about Gram's history. Not much, but a little. Why do you think it's Gram?

Because of the runes embedded in the sword, and because of

although it is a bit unfair, we had this discussion as ch4 came out, it is somewhere here in the thread, burried under the waifu war, or in LaL thread don't remember exactly where I recomend to look at that thread, it shed some light on the story of the VN another detail Hildas sword is a Mu...Matsamune ....(heck my memory) also a legendary weapon (it even exists in Real Life)

I haven't seen that render anywhere in the game. I trust you... but Gram is a big name.

It's a Promo render from Ceos Discord, but like the Images of Jessica using fire magic, there is a bit of it reflected in the Novel
the other candidates for the celtic sword are not lesser impresive, I tend to think it is Fraggernach (also in the Lore and Legend thread)

I don't know this one. Can you be more specific?

However, these are all just speculations. No one has any clear ideas about the second sword.
I think it is Gram, (the Nordic equivalent to Excalibur or the other way around) since the Damas needed an offensive weapon, to kill Medb and then drop Durendal there to incriminate the Templars and so start a war.

And why didn't Kaija feels anything when she picked it up? Yes, it didn't belong to her, but Alex also held it in his hand afterwards.

That makes no sense. The Templars haven't had Durendal for the better part of a millennium. The Alfar are expected to assume those rascally Templars have just been keeping it REALLY hidden all this time... only to somehow forget it on a victorious battlefield? o_O

Frankly, it would probably have been more effective to kill Medb's party then clean up the grunt bodies and leave no evidence of who attacked them whatsoever. Trusting the rampant xenophobia of the Alfar (and Finnabair in particular) to blame the Templars without any proof feels like a pretty safe bet.

Well, the Damas had 2 swords, and tries to attack Medb s party, In Ch 5 we learn from Nimue and Medb that the Sword was in possesion of the Alfar and disapeared 200 years a few centurys ago. Our sympathetic Finnabair even admits she wanted to Kill MC and recover the Sword she considers their property.
She even blames the Templars to have stolen the sword. :sneaky:

I don't recall anyone specifying Durendal was lost 200 years ago. I got the impression it was a lot longer ago than that. The timeline for Durendal is rather confusing, though.
