Dev Update September 26, 2025
Hey everyone,
I need to start this Dev Update with an apology.
Sorry for missing last week's Dev Update. I visited my parents (who live several hours away from me) for the weekend and left home on Friday morning.
I wanted to post the Dev Update before leaving home, but I simply forgot to do so. :-(
Please accept my sincere apologies, and as a punishment, I promise to kill off one of my blonde female characters earlier than planned. Lesson learned!
So yeah, this Dev Update is about the past two weeks, and the numbers below are both weeks combined.
In those 2 weeks, I finished the scene I was working on and moved on to one of the bigger scenes of this Chapter. It'll be a very important one for Elea's character arc, and it will keep me busy for the next week and most likely the week after.
The good thing is, once it is done, a pretty huge chunk of the remaining work for Chapter 7 will be done.
There will be one medium-sized scene left to do and then the Chapter ending.
The Chapter ending will be two different paths this time, which means you can end this Chapter in two different spots. The paths will merge again in Chapter 8, but for this Chapter, it means I basically have to do 2 different scenes for the ending.
Long story short: we're getting closer to the end, but we're not there yet.
The numbers for the past 2 weeks:
179 new static renders for a total of 1187
1 new animation (yay!) for a total of 9
640 new lines in the script file for a total of 4273
That's it for today.

Kaija is so weird. Imagine waking up in the morning and seeing that face in a dim light. Compare with Elea, Mabd and Fiona. No way!
