Hey everyone,
No news today, no progress on the game.
I spent the whole week creating fancy Halloween renders of all sorts.
I know this is exactly what you've all been wanting. Who needs game progress anyway, right?
This is the way.
Kidding aside, I know a lot of devs come out with special renders these days, but I won't.
I rarely do seasonal/themed renders anyway, and I simply don't have the time for it right now.
My main focus is to get the new chapter done, and every free minute goes into that.
Sometimes I wish I had more time for playing around or just sitting down and doing something not game-related in DAZ, but Halloween is NOT one of those moments; I just can't stand it. :-D
I finished the work on the last scene before the chapter endings, and both PC's are busy 24 hours a day, rendering all the animations and static renders in the queues.
Winter is coming (we have close to 0°C at night now), but my office is at a "lovely" 27°C (that's ~80 °F for you Americans).
Right now, I'm working on the first of the two endings.
The script for it is almost done, and I'm trying to catch up with the renders for it.
Finishing the script and the renders for the first branch will most likely keep me busy for the majority of the next week. I hope to be done with it before the next Dev log, but knowing myself, I come up with a few more ideas for renders while setting up the planned ones.
As I am at the final steps for the chapter, there won't be any more preview renders to avoid spoilers.
Maybe I'll set up some Halloween renders... not!
Here are the numbers for this week:
118 new static renders for a total of 1765
0 new animations (poor PC's are still busy rendering the ones from last week), total still 24
467 new lines in the script file for a total of 6262
