Issue is your first two complaints are the same as how repy works.

1 - I am yet to find a RenPy game in which inventory system is justified and not just an annoying whim of dev.
2 - To be valid argument, TND would need other RenPy features, mainly - rollback and saves.

Then Night Driver comes along, not that long ago even, and has great art and an intriguing story. Then someone like you comes along, and somehow wants to try to find some minute ignorable detail to complain about. I actually agree with some of your criticisms, but still, com'on. While some of your ease-of-use criticisms are perfectly valid they are ultimately trivial and easily implementable/fixable close to release.

That's the main reason for my post. It's not solving advanced NPC's AI or coding a whole new system. It's so trivial, that it should be almost more work to not add them than to implement them

And it's not like the dev is aggressive/unresponsive to criticisms and suggestions, and it's not like he has a parasocial cult who are aggressive to criticism in his stead (like a lot of big name titles I won't mention).

There's no point to this, I have the same problem but I just stopped playing after being annoyed for 10 minutes instead of yelling on the forums. It'll either be fixed one day or not. Being rude to the dev gets you nowhere.

I encourage you all - especially blacktoad - to look behind the letters. Then hopefully you'll see that wasn't insulting post, but rather caring one. I stand behind the clou of my claims with 100% seriousness, a game might be 10/10 but if it is frustrating to operate - a lot of people will bounce off it. And that directly translates to less money for dev.
Plus that's my default language as league addict.
Plus it seemed to work, since we talk about it, instead of being a shy feedback flooded by rest of conversations here.

But seriously, regardless of your apparently characteristic unfunny hyperbole, it is more work to add some/most of the features mentioned during alpha vs finished beta.

Oh, yeah, for sure it is easier to go through whole game, long forgotten parts of code you aren't even sure that are of earthly origin, in order to make sure all works and is stable, instead of working on top of existing system.. Tell me more about that.

Besides which I and others have raised the issues you've mentioned (and several others) both here and on the discord, without any of the attitude or glib peroration. Some fixed, others put on queue. Your redundancy to the feedback process of this game is manifold.

Redundant feedback absolutely exists especially when it's rude and insulting for no reason.

...every feedback, even if it is identical one, copy+paste of someone's else feedback - it still ADD more information. And if something is adding information, then it can't be redundant.

Take it up with blacktoad, see if he cares (signs point to: no).

If he's smarter than you, he won't lower himself to the level of our discussion and do the only smart thing to do - take key points of it and add them to the rest.
Cause the two of us here are both exactly that. Two points in his feedback dataset.

I loved skullchain scene, but this route became somewhat labyrinthian. You went to to Alice, then you backstabbed her, you went with Catherine and then you abandoned her. At this point it's not clear if you ruining or opening new paths for yourself, 'cause you have no idea will Alice or Catherine or Eddie's little BDSM club get any more content in the future.

Rudeness - it's just a from, flavour. I go for whatever I am in mood for.
But the form doesn't make an impact on the content, which remains the same:
no rollback, no qsave, noautosave, awful UX and UI experience.
