To be fair i think everyone mostly cared about the gallery either way.
those modes were so primitive i don't think anyone expected anything from them, but even then the amount of content each update was so little (1-2 3s loops per month), he probably wasn't getting new supporters either way.
I supported him every now and then for the past 7-8 years and it was always disappointing with the content accumulated every 6-7 months.
It also didn't help that he baited everyone with fake previews in the options which never came.
It felt like he treated the game as passive income that he spent 3-4 hours a month to add something as an obligation, than actually wanted to do anything.
This was always my feeling, I gave the dollar support during the last like 5 years I guess in the hopes that he'd do something nice.
He started many many things and suddenly stopped (Story mode, H-Race, the many other places in the Free-play), I think was a technical limitation on his part (Or trying to keep some good patrons going with H-content), idk.
But at some point, yeah, became a literal go-to MMD, animate, blender to unity, post. Anyways, the idea was really great, I really liked the beginning, but when started being a 5GB download for a new very small animation (when the models were not broken), I started just to wait to see if something would change.
A few months ago he actually made a pool asking what to focus on, people decided to go with the dollhouse (I guess like 100ish ppl voted total?), and even so, after months, it is quite limited (I guess the 1.36.0, I have to check if I still have it)
I remember a while ago there was a dev perk where you could actually see the code/help in some sort, but I never dared to go because I felt since I wasn't being the only one not heard, I'd throw 100 bucks to the window.
Anyways, It'd be nice if at least the "project" could become open
since there are migration scripts that are only there.
