I dont think anyone knows if HH is a MMD creator or not? but what i think everyone knows after reading the letter is, he also helped on modelling and helping Stratovarius stuffs so hopefully he knows what he's doing after working on the project together

oh yea its not UE5,its unity engine judging by the launcher option and the files

It is Unity, and by answering dederath, you can create a scene in MMD, export it to Blender using an add-on, and then throw on it. What kinda explains why all scenes, you can't interact or do whatever.

The port is very old and IIRC deprecated (reason why I think he uses Unity 2017). I got a bit curious and unpacked the whole thing lol.

edit: removal of repetition of word Unity.

I've noticed the frozen models. I'm resolved it by downloading and installing unity personal edition. It's like strat is missing essential unity files or something. The install is part of visual Studio. It's free but it's like a 7 gb install.
Long shot but I'm having the same problem and I can't fix the frozen models, despite downloading Unity Hub, Editor, and Visual Studio. What am I missing?

It is kinda sad. If this game had better graphics and a cum option this game could be one of the greats. Hell imagine a customization option. I feel like the animation is way better than games like koikatsu or honey select. But unfortunately I feel like the graphics and just general limits for customization, etc hold this game back a lot.
Agreed. Character shading needs work to look cel shaded and fix clothing clipping and weight painting along with a better UI and graphics options. Animations are for the most part unique and decent/high quality. Premise is interesting. its just so under baked and seems like it will take 30 years for it to reach full release. One of the handful of H-games that I would have actually liked if it had more than a snails pace of dev time.
