Rogue Like is good, but I prefer the mechanics and UI of Null more and getting the sex menu in this game feels like an actual reward, while in Rogue Like it was a bit too easy.
Couldn't help but comment on this. I'm just imagining the scenario where Null has maxed out both trust and love of every love interest while still friendzoning everyone with them pining for him until Emma Frost comes into the picture and he decides she's the one. I'm with you on this one, the only reason for me to play Rogue Like is because of Kitty, I hope that when she arrives in Null we can make her wear a ponytail too and then everything will be perfect.
I've played a few hours of it, chipping away at their stats with no more than compliments and refusing to use the addiction mechanic both because I'm stubborn and because I like to play as the nice guy whenever possible and dubcon like your touch and jizz literally being addictive isn't really up my alley plus I've also don't have much interest in fucking the girls in public settings where other can see us.
Since RLE is basically Koikatsu Party: You're not missing much by only jerking off to your favorites and moving on.
I see. I probably just put too much of my The Null Hypothesis expectations in Rogue Like since I assume there would at least be more unique events to each character. Or maybe I just need to play more before deciding; especially with my pants-on-head backwards way of grinding for stats.
There is some alternate dialogue here and here, like when you're introducing Gewnpool to the other girls and they'll say one thing or another if you're with them or not. And Oni is working on more unique events between certain characters, like the 'side quest' of a sorts between Laura and Kitty. But nothing to the extent of this game, let alone Our Red String.
Yeah, I guessed that the events like the introductions between Gwenpool and the others change depending on the stats of the girls in question but I guess I'm just slightly disappointed by the amount of content after waiting to play it after all this time and its release date.
