Yeah, I guessed that the events like the introductions between Gwenpool and the others change depending on the stats of the girls in question but I guess I'm just slightly disappointed by the amount of content after waiting to play it after all this time and its release date.

Not to speak for Ron, but there was a point between him creating a mod for the original game, and becoming more ambitious by getting a crew together for this project. I think it's fair to assume that, like others who aren't satisfied with RLE being relatively shallow, that Ron wanted more social simulation and Marvel lore.

And I am very glad for that decision. Porn games especially social sims of this scope and ambition are a rare breed, let alone a game about DC/Marvel. What are the other closest games of this sort? Something Unlimited and Doomination are good but their inherent premise isn't for everyone while Rogue Like is relatively shallow. X Rated is even newer than The Null Hypothesis and headed by a developer with a history of abandoned games so we'll see.

Leaving aside the comics parody games, do you have any other recommendations of social sims like the The Null Hypothesis, Our Red String and Love & Sex Second Base since those are the ones I know about?

Still, is there currently a way to reverse quirk progression after you encourage them or are they locked in after a certain point? If not, are the plans in the future to perhaps help the love interests overcome the more negative aspects of their quirks, say with the help of Professor X?

I think it'd be more fun to work through their issues.

1. Ron plays Rogue Like because he is a fan of Evo.

2. Ron decides that there isn't enough interactivity and thus creates a mod.

3. Ron decides to make an overhaul of Rogue Like but abandons that idea because spaghetti code.

4. Ron makes a test demo that gets leaked without his consent and gets accused of code theft despite it being 100% original.

5. People begin hating on Ron for deciding to try his hand at his own thing.

6. Myself and four other people stand up for him and offer to help in the project.

7. I point out "Let's do comics!" so that we can stand apart from Rogue Like.

8. Everyone slowly goes "You know, no one has attempted to go narrative heavy with these kinds of games."

9. Two years later we're finishing up Chapter 1 which establishes the setting with many comic book references while working on the beginnings of chapter 2 which is a direct adaptation of one of comic history's most celebrated story arcs.

Love & Sex Second Base

Literally the one I was gonna suggest. As a casual enjoyer I hold Love & Sex Second base as a "what to do" and "what not to do" when it comes to making a social sim. It has its flaws but it has so many pros to balance it out.

Check out my Fan Games for Fans list if you wanna try a few gems. Many of them have social sim elements even if it's not the focus.

On a serious note though, will there be some differences in the dialogue/story if Null chooses to discourage, enforce or a mixture of both regarding the love interests' quirks?

I say explaining Ron lore, not the game's lore. If Ron wasn't on board with the comic idea I wouldn't have been able to convince the others and he makes sure we don't go too far into the comics. Because comic books can get really weird.

Ron also added some reality to the relationship dynamic building. Not wanting it to be as simple as forming harems as you see in other games.

Saves behave weirdly for me. My latest save is at night in my room, and the screenshot next to the save shows where i made the save. When i load it though i'm back in the Danger Room showers, where i was 10 or 20 seconds before i made the save.

This is on beta 14.

This has been something that's bugged me for a long time, but I don't have a great solution for it. It's due to the particulars of how I abuse Ren'Py labels and screens, but the issue is that that abuse enables a lot of cool mechanics (e.g. the remote vibrator, the event system, the interaction system, etc.). I will continue trying to brainstorm my way through but for now I think it's something we have to live with

So im here cause idk what to, do im not able to get past winter because of this issue, whenever i recieve a message to start the final event the game shows up this error message and leaves me back in the room (it showed up in previous versions of the game as well but i dont remember how i dealt with it back then so it could just be an error on my end)
