They had to rework the code in order to accomodate live 2d and multithreading with the game still running smoothly in the future when more characters get added, would you prefer they rework that down the line when replaying its much more of a timesink?

tbh I never understood the incompatible saves thing. Sure, there can be a need for a different format, but why not implement a compatibility layer that converts the old saves into the new format? If you know both formats and they carry the same data this should be very simple.

Just to be clear, everyone saying 'oh, I guess it'll be another year before we get new content', I want to remind everyone that we're busy working on events for the new characters right now. As in I am literally writing stuff for Dazzler as we speak, and we have a whole bunch of stuff written for them already. I'm absolutely not going to give any kind of release date, but everyone doomsaying that they're not going to see anything for another year, I can categorically state for a fact that you're wrong.

it's usually something like "let's carry your progress onto new version. Choose what you did in prev version in this situation, that situation" and so on.. They just don't care about the audience and their time. Just start from the fucking begining.. Shame.
i'm thankful for this update, too many games focus on so called event and pile them up until the game is unplayable or repetitive, i'd rather we get update on the gameplay. btw hope we get more clothes too, i like the outfit system. thanks for the update.

Y'know, despite regulars like myself who know what's going, at least via King_In_Yellow re-posting updates and previews from Discord and Patreon, I'm seeing first-hand why the team Kanye shrugs to the fairweather players. It's also causing me to scream internally, but it is what it is unfortunately.

Minor critique.... I honestly wished they change the face shape of all the female LIS. Without the different hair and costumes, they all look fairly the same, especially with the upcoming characters.
