When she was ported over to the comics she was made caucasian to look more like Logan, OG Laura looked nothing like her old man.

Didn't need to be raceswapped for that. Could have just revealed that Dr. Kinney was dark-skinned too. I mean she already had his chin and and a bit of his nose. Could have just tweak some facial features more to reflect parentage better.

I don't see what changing her race added. It wouldn't even be the only interracial kid that Logan's got, right?

Youre missing the context that we originally thought she was fully a clone, originally everyone thought she just carried Laura to term after she was basically genetically manufactured from Logan's leftover genes from weapon X.
And in Evo Sarah wasnt even a thing, just a Hydra scientist and we didnt know where the other side of her genetic material came from, the movie also had her mother be just a random kidnapped Mexican girl that got killed after giving birth.

Nah, as it is right now it works better, she trully looks like Logan's little girl, she even has his fangs.

It universally pissed off everyone who was remotely familiar with Evo, pissed off people who looked into Evo because of the controversy, and royally pissed off the creators of X-23 because fun fact, Laura's design in Evo was based off of the real life daughter of Evo's show runner.

The thing is that Nyx isn't even that bad of a comic if you put in the herculean effort of ignoring X-23's role in it. Though the controversy was so bad that the character of Kiden Nixon was basically gone from comic books until this year(2025).

The stamina upgrade cost is 1 point --> 3 points and 5 points for the last one.

And don't forget you can buy more skill-points with achievement-points from the phone.

Look at the bright side, if it wasnt for that, then maybe Laura would have never made it out into the comics, or gotten everyone so pissed that we got Innocence Lost and Target X to make up for it.

We've had publishers talk to us so we'd likely make something original so we could actively make $$$ off of it once we finish TNH.

It'd be the logical and financially wise thing to do because right now TNH is in a net loss for itself with Ron needing to dip into his personal funds to pay for a lot of art.

I have outlined general ideas for up to 4 Sequels to TNH. 2 visual novels and 2 more sandboxes.

All of which Buttholder also helped me discuss because we are nerds.

Dang, looks I missed quite a bit while I was away; time for my signature loads of long-winded questions in one post.

So how does making something original square up with the fact that you've got ideas for up to 4 sequels for TNH lined up? After finishing TNH you guys go do that original game to make money and then you guys would return to THN sequels? Wouldn't that increase the chances of the Big Mouse noticing TNH and any potential sequels or is that too far away currently to be a concern?

Is there any reason it's specifically 2 visual novels and 2 sandboxes or is it just how you've envisioned it for now? And finally, in my second ever post on this thread I asked whether Null will be the protagonist for any potential TNH sequels and you replied in the affirmative by answering Null will be the protagonist in all the team's X-Men games and if I'm not mistaken it's written somewhere that you guys will only have one protagonist per setting tackled. Does that still hold true today and is there any chance of this stance changing in the future?

I personally hope not as more often than not I find that spin-offs with different protagonists delay development of the original work, dilute the point of the original or just be plain cash grabs.

A SFW version could unshackle the devs/writers because they wouldn't be held back by needing every character to be 18+ and fuckable.

However, how would the team be able to even make a SFW version and make money off of it? Time and time again we've seen fan-made projects be shut down after years of work because of copyright laws. The only way a SFW version of this game could survive, is if the entire story and characters are changed. You could keep the name, sure, but the X-Men? That'd have to be thrown out. What would this game even look like without the X-Men?

I read the talk about people asking about a SFW version as more of a compliment and testament to the writers' effort in showing comic-faithful X-Men and how good it is rather than any concrete plan on releasing a separate SFW version of the game.

Also, I wouldn't say they would be unshackled from 18+ characters if they made a SFW version. Boots has previously said that the dev team is staying away from any underaged characters like Gabby/Badger because even if they add her in with nothing questionable, people can take the artwork that is there and make illegal mods and that will all blowback on the team even if they had nothing to do with it so they aren't taking any chances like that.

I have no idea how copyright with porn games work but I'd reckon it's simply because porn games are beneath Disney's notice since they are small scale and people don't usually openly advertise they're playing a porn game but if a SFW version of TNH came out and Youtubers post videos about it with clickbaity titles like "This X-Men fan game is MUCH better than X-Men comics!" (even if it is true) then I'd bet that will eventually catch someone's eye at Disney.
