So redneck Null's theme song?
Nah. I just can't think of any mid 2000's pure edgelord songs off the top of my head. by Funeral for a Friend is edgy, but still too sad boy/emo boy for bitter Null in my opinion...

Okay. Now I've got something that is painfully obvious and was basically my theme song during high school: by Bullet For My Valentine.

Nice, BFMV is pretty good.

I wonder in what kind of wild fork our saves diverted to cause that, in my run Ororo very much wanted some sugar.

What kind of Null are you playing?
I was doing a heroic boyscout, in the comic Storm loves herself some heroes.
I thought people knew and I was an idiot for missing it this time around. But it's not about which archetype you choose/play. In fact, I would say what your scholarship is has more to do with getting the scene than your archetype. (Trying not to spoil it)

Can we get more wardrobe save slots? 28 is not enough :cry: I want to have a bunch of different clothes combination/colours. I would settle with the double, but if it was possible to remove the cap, even better! :)
So... I found the code to remove the limit, but I don't know what that would do the save file... Afraid to try it out...

ETA: Yeah, looking at the data object for outfits. There's a lot in here. Enough bork a save/overtax the game engine? Maybe... If you really want it to be done, I can show you. But without extensive testing, I wouldn't make this a part of my cheat injector.

Comic readers will know that there is an event post-Phoenix Saga that would make Null basically go-
Would you believe it took me a moment to remember which event it was, because geez, even back during the Claremont era, the world was kicking mutants in the chin.
He may or may not have a few words for the X-Men when he goes back to being Captain America :)
Looking at a synopsis of that story, Captain America acts way more antagonistic than he realistically should, considering how many heroes he worked with being former assassins/child soldiers, brainwashed or otherwise, with several of them being active Avengers.

I'm guessing here, Captain America will be more sympathetic, especially as Laura will be active heroing much, much earlier than she did in the comics, and the majority of his anger will be directed at the people who purpose grew a child to be an assassin. Specifically, a child, because Weapon X just went out of their way to be bastards.

Anyone else likes anti-hero/bitter Null? If so I would like to ask which song you people think would fit with this kind of Null.

A fellow VTMB player and a high humanity one of that? Color me impressed, I too dig going high humanity in VTM (I also did that on Night Road).
Say what you will about Troika Games and the jank in their games but they knew how to make actual RPGs where choices at least have some consequences.

We did think of the children. It made us make the decision that Gabby will never be appearing in our games and that Magik won't be a thing prior to her time in limbo.

Some girls will get off on Reluctant Null. Long term community members can probably guess who would get off on that Null the most.

Y'all muthafuckas thinking I was talking out my ass with saying we were TellTaleing this bitch didn'tcha?

We have a note to ensure that the game will recognize if you start Heroic, change during the mid point, and then go back to Heroic.

Null's room decoration is on the to do list but it's really low priority right now.

Trust me, I too want a version of Bully's room updates.

Just letting you know that Laura still did those things. The only reason the interrogation scene didn't happen was because Captain America was too busy being Nomad to help.

He may or may not have a few words for the X-Men when he goes back to being Captain America :)
Which is a damn shame but I fully support it considering the potential for misuse is too high.

Then my Heroic Null will have to work doubly hard to woo them then!

I know you're using TellTale since they were by far the most well known adventure game creators since LucasArts but I'm hoping you guys won't actually go down the TellTale route since I personally find their games to become increasingly railroady as the plot advances and that the majority of choices don't make a lick of difference except for perhaps a slight change in the next couple sentences.

Don't look it up, don't look it up, DON'T LOOK IT UP...!

We'll all be very disappointed if it isn't anything like this gem from salscou:

Damn it, I accidentally spoiled myself again! Thankfully I have no context on what that means.

Im guessing that must be it then, i think i chose the reluctant archetype the most during choices.
Huh, thats pretty fucking neat then, i like that.

Its not your archetype that it checks for at that scene. I pointed it out in an earlier post of mine but didn't figure out what it affected until now:

Also, fuck yeah, then we finally have an excuse for Null to meet Matt.
It didn't get that far. He wasn't there to apprehend Laura. That's how and why Wolverine got Laura to the mansion. They just had SHIELD goons to take care of, not powered heroes.

Geez, what did the X-men do at this point to Cap?
Do you want a list?

Don't think this is the end of the surprises, btw. We have stuff coming up that we've literally not discussed outside of the dev chat.
You all know I have a reputation for being reprimanded for oversharing so the fact that there's stuff that I haven't even hinted at? That should frighten and arouse you.

The difference was context.

X-23 pretended to be a frail girl and killed nearly a hundred men, women, and children. Including the EMTs that were inspecting her.

X-23 would go on to murder other people. Even if she was brain washed.

The specific gripe Cap had was that he literally held her in his arms and she got away.

Though even then, he still let her go. In a later comic he states that she was just as much a victim. Being friends with Bucky would have made him a hypocrite if he didn't notice that.

Well we can't give you 500 different endings and 50 different routes but we can and have had outcomes change based on your behavior.

There won't just be dialogue variants. Some characters will hold staggeringly different opinions of you depending on your choices during major events and your dominant character archetype.

Yep, that's the choice I mentioned in my earlier post. At the time I noticed it I thought it would be a flag for dating Storm in Ch2, but it looks like that's what leads to the kissing scene.
Huh, so it's that specific dialogue option that triggers this kissing scene then; got to keep that in mind then.

You all know I have a reputation for being reprimanded for oversharing so the fact that there's stuff that I haven't even hinted at? That should frighten and arouse you.

Arouse us you say...? Can we please have a little more sir?

I would expect that if I was a and could donate fat stacks of money to the cause but alas...

Jokes aside, I was just voicing my personal opinion of finding the games TellTale made to be surprisingly linear aside from a few key choices.

I'll be one happy camper if the whole "X will remember that" mechanic won't just be a placebo thing most of the time. And by the sounds of all the hints and breadcrumbs both Buttholder and you have dropped so far, I'm confident that I won't be dissappointed.
