I think my only concern right now is the system for unlocking being able to date a new girl when your going for all the girls. It's a good and balanced system when your dealing with just a couple girls but it might be a bit much with more.

When they add the new 3 new girls you will have to grind the friendship something like 12 times ( 3 for the first, 4 for the second, and 5 for the last one )? to unlock dating all 3 new girls. And something like 39 times when you have 12 girls and 3 more are added. Note I'm not great with math.

I'm hoping they make it that a fair amount of the girls start okay with it if they make sense for it, or at least require little effort. And only the ones that canonically don't get along with others require more work to establish that trust.

Well, the devs have already given themselves a path forward for the whole love/trust grind : increased gains, via the achievement shop currently, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had a chapter completion bonus, or possibly character events for later girls may give higher boosts to points (if you select a "good" response to those scenes)

They could also add new skills/abilities that will help in later chapters... plenty of choices for them to avoid the game being too grindy.

I was talking about needing to make the girls friends in order to unlock them being okay with dating one of the new girls since it just exponentially increases the grind each new girl added. I'm fine with love/trust mechanic as it is right now.

I had fun reading some parts of the games discord today, and lets just say: There are already some potential (and amusing) solutions for that pitfall floating around there.

So with a little luck, we will at least not have explain to multiple angry GFs why we were going on "date 3/3" with someone not approved last night again, and doing the full grind could easily get limited to those you want to have groupsex with. Which seems fair and worth the additional hassle to me.

Where was this discussed? I have trouble keeping up with both the discord and this thread here.

Indulging in a quirk enforces a personality trait; in Rogue's case, it ups her submissiveness.

So if you want sassy Rogue later on, pick the thumbs down.

I wasn't really meaning a discussion persay, but the "majority vote" from the hum-hum dump stories would really ease off early grinding, once the harem grows too unwieldy in chapter 3+.
It would also be an easy excuse for some girls to already have a bit of connection & score-points with eachother, while others are at best getting a frosty treatment.

So far it is two quirks per girl, and seems to get a value of how often you encouraged or discouraged it
Submissive & Masochistic for Rogue
Dominant & Wincestplay for Jean
Dominant & Protective for Laura

Edit: You'll also find those in their Stat screens later on when you know the girls better, and there seems to be some final confirmation dialogue later on to "lock in" your quirk picks for each girl.
No clue yet if those mean "locked-in for this chapter" or for the rest of game, that is a secret only devs can tell you.

also worth noting that you can talk to them about activating or deactivating the quirks once you're in a relationship. so you're not locked into anything (yet. who knows if that remains a thing in later chapters)

Ok so.
1.- As it stands, chapter 1 is complete, we are in version 0.8 and chapter 2 will begin at version 1.1 (wich is when the new girls will be available).
2.- Next girls will be Storm, Dazzler and Kitty, with Emma Frost making an appearance as a villain as the shadow king did in chapter 1.
3.- Dunno, they just kinda do it on their own, you could try overwriting their pajamas?

When in the wardrobe for a girl you can set outfits to on and off, if you make a custom nude one for sleep after setting the default one to off they'll wear the custom instead.

Yeah we've commented on this. Some girls will be hesitant, some will be eager, some will be eager if you already have a girl who they like in the comics and some with be hesitant in sharing you with a girl they dislike. It'll be dynamic.

Like that's the game. There's two other X-Men games that are essentially meet&fuck and I don't know why people think we we'd simplify things when we've been very transparent about where we're going.

I simultaneously envy and also pity Shiny and the rest of creative...living the dream of writing what you want...while also having to deal with...actually writing it.

Honestly Laura's more into aggressive equality than dominating Null in bed. If you choke her, she chokes you back. She expects you to not loosen her grip once the choke party has started.

To sum things up.
Rogue wants someone to take care of her so she doesn't have to deal with hardship anymore.

Jean wants some measure of control in her life and that means exerting control over you.

Laura wants to drag you down to her level as a disaster gremlin. Punch things, eat raw meat, shout into the darkness, and punch whatever comes out.

Ah alright it seems like it lines up with my recent memory plus what I read here so thanks for the rundown, seems like Chapter 1 is where the end goal is so far before we get new girls in the next Chapter 2. And yeah I'm doing the pajamas atm it's working on Rogue and I'll try it on Laura and Jean.
