I'm curious about something; why is Emma's wardrobe developed already if she's gonna be the bad gyal of this chapter?
The three available chicks for ch2 are Kitty, Dazzler and Ororo, right? But we're getting Emma dressed as another one of them.
Could it be that she infiltrates the school and fakes being another one of the girls just to peep in professor McQueen's diary?

This is something to think about or Emma will replace Storm in the next chapter

Status update!
I've been happy to be able to find a lot of time to code the last few months - I have a shelf exam coming up, so we'll see if I actually pass, but I'm optimistic.
The main thing I've been working on is getting the base code finalized and ready for Ch. 2 characters. I'm frontloading this work as much as I can for 0.8c so that 0.9 and 1.0 can be primarily art and animation updates with. The main things that players can expect from this code update are:
1) More varied dialogue and sandbox interactions.
2) Smoother gameplay, particularly on Android.
The main things modders and translators can expect from this code update are:
1) Much easier methods to hook your custom activities, events, scenes, reactions, etc. I've talked a lot about how I want modding to be as much of a drag-and-drop experience as possible, with limited need to override existing functions to achieve what you want. We're basically there with this coming game version.
2) Exposure of all game strings to Ren'Py's automatic translation system, including in-game text that was previously handled through Python functions and were therefore not available to native Ren'Py translation.
We're making fantastic progress on the art side as well. Right now I'm working to get poses for the new Ch. 2 characters sorted out. We're also finalizing the cutout scenes that will be coming in 0.9 and making some spot updates to the existing art to make sure quality remains consistent across the board as the artists and I figure out better ways to achieve the game vision.

Btw, The_Man_With_No_Name those updates about modding may help you with your eye color mods.

Interesting that Emma's first costume here already has a little blue X-symbol. I get that's because it's her New X-Men look, but I'm wondering if it's a sneaky hint for the plot of TNH.

It's kind of an open secret that she'll join the team and the harem at the end of the Ch.2. They're probably preparing her Ch.3 assets beforehand.

I'm using AI in my workflow, and I've been following this game since 0.3c. There's not a single ounce of possibility that this game's using AI.

But it's still funny to joke around.

Pretty sure there is a switch in the setting that disable seasonal limit.

I found the best thing is training with two of them. Studying works too. Some are more specific like swiming with them in the pool. Do thing with them, so they can interact.

If they're following a broad overview of canon, then Emma isn't joining the team for a while. Emma might be a unique interaction with the hellfire club that plays out over the course of the following chapters, since Emma is very much a villain for the next couple comic arcs. If I had to guess, Null's interaction with the hellfire club might be that as a diplomat/spy since his power directly counters theirs, and Emma is obviously going to develop an interest in Null, which makes the whole thing possible in the first place.

Also, personally kinda against Emma joining immediately after this chapter, mostly because that seems a disservice to her character and because it would mean one of the potential chapter 3 girls (Moonstar, Wolfsbane and Magik) would have to be dropped.

That's more likely to happen tbf. But I still think they're preparing her assets beforehand to focus on other things when her time comes.
Why they didn't do Storm on 0.x? Probably to focus on game mechanics and assets of main girls of the chapter first.

You can only finish the seasonal quests in the season they appear in- in other words, winter quests can only be finished in winter
