For a test, I've added the friendship points to my own UI mod to see how many I've already accumulated:

I doesn't stop counting after the last rank, so showing only the ranks is at least enough for me there in the quick menu without consulting the friendships screen.

Another notification popup like "Jean gained affection for Laura" could also be too much, as group activity already chains too many notifications in a row that these never seem to end. I've already made these slightly faster now.
I think it's fine if the friendships screen only shows the rank by the portrait frame, as numbers would make it look too unnatural how affections have developed so far. The exact affection stats to the player are enough for that.
The only unclear matter here is that Jean can only be Good Friends at maximum to Rogue and Laura. We'll see later in chapter 2 with the newcomers if there are more Best Friends possibilities before someone wastes too much time by grinding affection.
Nonetheless, an extra "Tutorial: Friendships" card in the database giving more hints couldn't really hurt without revealing any exact numbers.
Exact numbers isn't the issue. Yes, the rank word indicator is enough, though a termination signal of some form would be nice. Maybe the word "max" or something added on the friend menu. That will require graphics icons, so unless we collaborate its best left to the devs.

The issue is that when love/trust is gained, there is a visual indicator telling the player that an action = points, but no such for friend points.
And there doesn't need to be a lengthy thing outlining every activity , just something added in the database or from Kurt giving people the general idea that activities done with multiple girls = friend points.

It's such a persistent problem coming up that it really should be added in a later version.
We'll see what ShinyBoots thinks.

I also find it irritating that the notifications show XP and level gains for the girls, although these don't matter at all at moment besides accumulating the score points for the leaderboards. Maybe this will change one day.
If these notifications only show gains of the player, then that should be really enough info to avoid confusion.

Maybe it's intentional that only the pool is mentioned for gaining affection, so you spend more time relaxing instead of only taking classes, studying and training with the girls.
What I would add at least is a notification that "X has become Friends to Y", so you sometimes know something has changed without checking the friendships screen once in a while. This way the players could figure out for themselves that certain activities also help improving relations.

I forgot to mention: that there can also be events ignoring these friendship points, like when you send Laura to Rogue for advice about relationships. Laura and Rogue will automatically become Friends then.
For that reason alone, these friendship points shouldn't be mentioned or shown as they are not a strict rule to this game mechanic.

Update #4: changed the wording "Bathe" to "Shower" in the shower achievements' text, lowered the notification popup duration by a half second

The shower rewording should avoid mixing this up with sunbathing. I'll gladly remove this change should the player receive a bathtube one day.
You can adjust the notification timer yourself in the file or entirely remove the code if you are fine with the spam. The default values are mentioned there.

Sorry for the update spam, but it's only a 32 KB file to exchange, so what?
If we got US Dollars in our X-Mansion located in Salem Center New York, why not the US standard temperature scale as well?

You can switch anytime whatever is your preference what will be stored in the persistent file together with the game's options settings. Default is Celcius. This has only to be set once as long as you don't delete your (user) saves folder where the persistent file is located.
Running out of hotkeys soon. "c" is classroom, "t" is the remote vibrator while "f" full-screen toggle, so I picked "d" what can be changed in the mod file. Adding and switching this by hotkey is still much easier than creating an additional menu option.

He already copied Laura's healing, homever, it kinda works on batteries, he must siphon energy to heal.
Laura and Logan can heal on their own, while if you dropped a wounded Null in the middle of nowhere, im not sure hes making it.
that isn't answering the question. for those who don't know the lore, deadpools healing is so strong that if it wasn't for his advanced cancer being so aggressive to keep his healing in a stalemate, his healing factor would kill him. so i ask again. if the mc were to get both versions ( wolverine's & deadpool's) would they combine and increase the severity of deadpool's healing factor or would wolverine's version counter deadpool's version and keep the mc alive.

I doubt Null would even be able to absorb Deadpools healing factor, whilst it is derived from Logans, Deadpool isn't a mutant he's a mutate so no X-gene. But we won't know if Nulls powers are exclusive to mutants or anyone with powers unless the devs clarify.

I'd ask the team to have degrading nicknames for Rogue such as 'jizz cup', 'cock sleeve', 'bitch', 'puta', and 'semen reservoir', but I'm sure that none of those would get approved.

Edit: Or 'strumpet'.
We should get something naughtier yet wholesome.

Would not Deadpool have the X-gene? He wasn't born with it active, but due to the experiment, mutant DNA was activated, so while technically not a mutant, there is a good chance that it was the X-genes, so Null ought to be able to nuke his power?

Of course there is a possibility that Null is some sort of null reality warper, and the fact that Deadpool is a mutate would be significant even though he could have active X-genes?

Okay, I've now officially confused myself...
