Well, try to understand things from my perspective. From my perspective, I maybe have only left a handful of comments on this thread over the past 3 years. It's just not something I'm invested in and never have been. I just check on it whenever I see it by chance. I don't care enough to dig through the thread. Whenever I see it:
- I briefly check the preview screenshots
- I briefly check the changelog
- Then I usually fuck off and go back to ignoring it.
- Only this time by chance, I checked the dev notes and just saw "all 3 characters" and based off of the previews I just assumed that was it and Storm was just some ancillary character or whatever.

To be fair, I could've done a search real quick but again, don't care enough and a lot of the time, it's usually just stuff that doesn't answer my question.

The only thing different is that relevant information just happened to be discussed just a few pages back but ... I haven't been keeping up with this at all to think to check. It'd be more likely I'd just be mindlessly going through the pages while reading esoteric stuff about a game I haven't played yet than find anything pertinent to me. Which is why I just thought to pop a quick question that I assumed was innocuous.

This game looks good at a glance but not good enough to really give it a try unless it has characters I'm interested in. To you, this game may be something you've been following enough to be invested in it. To me, it honestly just feels like another drop in the bucket of 100s of games developing at a snail's pace. I'm tired from the day, I don't have a lot of energy, it's a game I'm not even sure whether I want to play yet, I'm going to ask a quick question.

But yes, Kitty is coming in 1.1, and shes a complete cutie pie dork like she was in the comics.

She probably will also take something from her X-men evolution counterpart, just like Rogue with being a goth girl.

As someone who became a fan of Kitty Pryde due to the comic (The Claremont era Kitty because fuuuuuck Marvel), I have to wonder what exactly this Kitty will inherit from the Evo cartoon. Evo cartoon Kitty was very different from the Claremont era Kitty, from what I recall, so I am curious about it, though from personal preference, I would prefer comic Kitty over evo due to again becoming a fan of the goofball.

To be fair, Rogue used to be pretty similar to Evo Rogue until about the 90s, so it wasn't exactly a mismash, but Evo and comic Kitty are two very different characters, so it'll likely be harder for the writers to incorporate the two beyond the occasional reference.

I also have to wonder about the story changes. If they're following the comic, then Kitty will have only manifested her powers mere hours before meeting the X-Men, but here she'll be eighteen like Null was, but unlike Null, she's immediately thrown into the deep end with the whole Phoenix and Hellfire Club shenanigans while Null had an entire season to get used to things, so it'll be interesting to see how her character handles that.

I imagine she'll be a lot closer to a full mental breakdown here than she was in the comic, and that her prior life before manifesting her powers will have a lot more influence on her character.

Let's see, Shadow King Round 1, hospitalized by the Juggernaut, attacked by Sentinels (hospitalized AGAIN), an attempted lynching by a bunch of bigots (well, SOMEBODY ended up in the hospital), and let's not forget Shadow King Round 2 (Hey, look! Ms. Reyes reserved my bed!). Man, Null really did get eased in there, yes, indeed.

Null didn't really face off with the Shadow King outright and passed out, and it was several months before Juggernaut attacked the school. Kitty, on the other hand, will be spending the next several hours after finding out she's a mutant running for her life from people trying to kill her and having to save the X-Men, longer if it's following the comic (in the comic the whole pheonix/Hellfire arc only takes a few days) This is not even getting into the sheer number of times she's randomly almost killed after that with actual demons and eldritch horrors going after her specifically (Yeah, Kitty had a rough time in the comics after her debut).

Null didn't have a great time, but Kitty genuinely went through hell after her introduction to the X-Men.

I don't recall her ever wearing glasses in Uncanny X-Men, but she does in Excalibur.

I am now really hoping she gets to wear glasses in TNH because that would be an amazing costume choice for her.

Essentailly start interacting with them. Develop the relationship with each. Eventually start dating Rogue, avoid dating the others until later. You can start but if Rogue catches you cheating she will be mad. Eventually you can raise your relationship to the point where you can as Rogue if you can be Poly, initially she says she will think about it, then once the relationship develops further she will agree.

To develop the Girls relationships, add them all to a text group then invite them all to hang out whenever you do an activity like class or the pool or danger room. They will develop friendships in the background.

Call everyone to a location-> do activity

Everyone at pool-> do pool things
Everyone in training room-> train together
Everyone on screen in the class-> do class together

Do activity with people in the same room-> Everyone who participates gets friend points with each other
Relationship menu tells you the friend level

I didn’t understand the message group. I called everyone to the pool, but I don’t see them talking anymore.

You can do the group chat or you can just go to a location and call them one by one depending on which ones you want to gain friendship with. Then you just do the activity together.

If you want to gain friendship as fast as possible then make sure you do activities that gain you double friendship points

+1 friendship activities = studying, training, class
+2 friendship activities = Swimming, Sunbathing, Mall hangout, Movie night, Wander Town

Also they have limits to the levels you can get them to in chapter 1, but you only need them to be friends to be able to date more then one without consequences, just make sure to ask your current girlfriends permission to date them first or you are in for grinding a lot of friendship to make them friends again.
