Before you go complaining that the devs are lazy, look at the decompiled game and see for yourself how many scripts have been changed for better optimization/workflow.

I had a look to modify the exp modifiers because the grind is annoying and there is so much that's been changed.

If you want to change the exp modifiers for yourself in the code.

1. Use unrenpy to decompile
2. Navigate to game>definitions
3. Open file called player (not player.rpyc) with visual studio code
4. You can change the values for exp gain on line 45 (Works for exp, love, trust, desire)

I'm still looking to see where the scholarship is being handled now

Doesn't suck as bad if you haven't played in a while and want to go thru the game again for fun. But sometimes these things are unavoidable.

I assumed many of the underlining scripts had been changed. I've only played around with the textures, database.rpy, and the interactions rpy.
I just thought that it was silly that some of the textures were renamed even though they are totally unchanged. Because of that the things that look for the textures also needed their lines changed. Seemed to be just a personal organization thing in the case of textures largely. (files for "Jean" being renamed to "Jean_grey" or "Laura" to "Laura_kinney")

By 1.0 everything will probably be more or less locked in.

Having weird interaction with current version of this game and current version of URM. Without URM installed this game runs fine. With URM installed AVG quarantines the exe for this game on launch. Anyone else have similar issue?

Probably the antivirus not liking URM in general, but only caring once it's "active" from launching the exe.

Just weird it's acting up with this version of this game. Just wonder why this hasn't happened previously with other games or even the previous version of this game. Playing without URM bugs me a little. But I only use it to cheat in money and pick the best dialogue options. But I don't mind flying blind. Used the console to cheat in money.

But I do agree the trigger is likely URM itself.

For all those dreading having to start over, keep in mind its not just the coding that has been changed. Dialog has also been updated. Also, if you've spent a lot of time grinding in the older versions then you most likely have a bunch of achievements completed and can use those points to help speed things up.

So, on a scale of Warframe to JRPG, how grindy is this game and is it actually worth it to go through?

because at face value this looks like a lot to manage when I just kinda want a fun-ish trainer game set in the X-men universe.

it's not that bad in terms of grinding. I'd say it's a 3 out of 5 but it's really fun and has funny moments

Its a fucking porn game my dude or lady? people want to jerk it to hentai not hodl their dick in their hands waiting for some sex scene. most people skips the boring stuff in a porn parody and go straigth to seeing spiderman fucking Black widow in that spider man parody.

Again, there is also a significant number of people who are interested in the game because of the social sim aspects of it. I don't need this game specifically to see the female X-Men get fucked on the internet while this is the closest thing to a X-Men social life sim around.

To this day I still wonder why exactly the X-Women have their xp and level tracked.

Boots did say a combat system was in the works, albeit at the bottom of the priority list. I asked him about whether the system changes by the time of v1.0/v1.1 accounted for a combat system too a while ago. Wonder what his answer will be?

He took a month off during the summer, so it's been worse. He'll probably do a quick skim through. Most of the posts from those pages are repeats in their content so not really as much to address.(... I have to make a new save???)

I largely ignore the thread during update time when the gooner brained guys swarm. No point really talking to them much. Just pisses one off. As for the rest of the time, I like the game and it's just fun to bs around here.

Honestly I would have never found out about this game and so many others if it wasn't for this site. And I did donate to Buttholder too when I'm normally miserly as hell so the site probably at least helped in adding a few subs.

Though this is the first time I am actually using F95zone as a forum and not just the place I go to download porn games.
