Archie Comics, unrelated to Marvel.
Two facts.
1 - Archie had a crossover to the Punisher.
2 - That character is Ethel Muggs. She had a crush on Archie's best friend Jughead. A few years ago, Archie Comics tried to break away into mature comics, the first major attempt was a zombie storyline called Afterlife with Archie. Basically, Jughead becomes a zombie and the first person he kills is Ethel, tearing into her neck.

Agreed tbh, that whole time period in the 2000's that spawned this comic, where everyone was obsessed with zombies and it infected (lol) every piece of media was...something alright

Itll already be bad anough with whats coming in mutant massacre as it is.

But no, if we are following the comic rules, the two universes affected by it should be locked tight in a time loop, unless youre talking about whatever horrid abomination disney plus just commited, i didnt even bother looking up what goes up there.

Mr Sinister orchestrates a massacre of the Morlocks, a community of mutants living in the sewer system of New York. The storyline was unique for a few reasons, namely:I just saw people mentioning the Multiverse and Marvel Zombies
- It was the first mention of Mr Sinister, a character who would greatly affect the X-men.
- It was one of the first major in-company crossovers, as not only were the X-men involved, but they were being led by a Magneto who chosen to atone for his crimes. The New Mutants were also involved. As well as that, the original 5 X-men (Cyclops, Jean, Angel, Beast and Iceman) reunited to form X-Factor, who in something of a con, posed as human mutant hunters for the government, where they were help mutants where they could. Also involved was Thor and the sibling team the Power Pack.
- The storyline left several heroic mutants with life threatening injuries. Colossus was left paralysed if he shifted to his unarmoured form. Nightcrawler was in a coma. Kitty was unable to get out of her phased form, meaning she was effectively fading away. And most famously, Angel's wings were pinned to a wall, leading to gangrene setting in and necessitating the medical amputation of his wings. This would lead to his joining Apocalypse for a time.
Basically the storyline was about an end of innocence, as many younger heroes were having to come to grips with the deaths of so many innocent people, as well as older heroes having to make darker choices that they normally wouldn't make. Also Storm has a freak-out and leaves the team for a short time.

It shouldn’t affect her or Logan a lot of events like this throw shit out the window so bad shit can happen realistically the heroes would have beaten the zombie outbreak. Hulk definitely shouldn’t have been infected with all that gamma radiation the virus should’ve died if it entered his body besides rotting teeth shouldn’t be able to pierce the hulks skin. Like I can’t even believe they straight up ate the Silver Surfer and Galactus
. I’ve seen clips of the show and yeah it’s as bad as you think it is.

Spider-man explained it. Anyone with any sort of accelerated healing should have been able to fend off the virus longer than others, but in a immunological war of attrition, the virus wins. As for the Hulk, the virus travelled through space, meaning it was likely constantly exposed to Cosmic Radiation, which has been noted to cause cellular mutations, such as the possibility of resistance to other forms of radiations.
The virus was also sentient and was targeting those with powers, as they would be the ones most likely to cross dimensional barriers, so it could spread it's gospel.
There's only one character who was known to be completely immune to the virus, and that was the Conquistador in 616, and that was possibly because he had bathed in the Fountain of Youth. Still got devoured by the zombies though. (Marvel Zombies 3)
In the end, it was a moot point. They wanted something that would make heroes into nightmarish monsters and the best way they could have done that was a virus that was 100% unstoppable. Hell, its why Uatu forced it into a timeloop to stop it from spreading out beyond two destroyed universes.

The only thing that really made sense about Marvel Zombies (the comic) and the initial outbreak was that it was the Sentry who infected everybody. It made sense how fast that world fell because what can you do when a zombie can smash through a wall? Or is strong enough to pierce Hulk's skin? You're fucked. Characters with healing factors shouldn't have been able to turn but IIRC the comic hand-waved it away and said something like "the virus was so powerful, it beat out the healing speed" or something.
Now eating Silver Surfer, Galactus, and then gain the Power Cosmic to eat everything in the universe... that's when they jumped the shark in that story tbh.
