And i can see the girls getting pissed at Allison not taking it seriusly and rollerskating around the danger room while singing and putting up lightshows.
If so, it's because early on, Alison would be pissed that mutant training would be taking time away from her singing practice.
She learns fast though. She's a woman of focus, commitment, and sheer fucking will.

...just don't steal her sound amp. I heard she once took out a guy with a pen clicker.

I still wonder what style will Allison have. Rollerblades don't fit with anything from the 2000s. Edit: maybe garage rock?. You could make her a skateboard girl and that would perfectly fit the avril Lavigne niche.
This I'm sure shiny boots is massively tailorswifting her.

Damn. Caught before I remembered the obvious that she converts sound and did my edit.

Anyway, Dazzler is always the biggest question mark for adaption since her music changes by the era. Not sure for the skates. Roller skates weren't "hip" but still a fun side thing in the early 00s. Skatboarding works too.
She likes motorcycles so at least she can bond with Wolverine over that.

I've been playing catch up and skimming through posts and wanted to ask something I didn't think about until now. Not to derail the current convo but to add something for people to think about. What's up with Null's power?

We know that he's effectively useless against magical power/raw physical power when he tried to stop Juggy. That pretty much rules out everyone with magic or enhanced strength right? For example: In a fight with Captain America, who's power is just "super-soldier", Null's power isn't going to do anything for him.

I got curious about this because someone had mentioned that an idea for a sequel could have Spider-Man and Null be roommates or something like that. How would Null's power effect Peter? Would it essentially switch off his spider-sense, but leave his strength and agility of a spider intact, or wipe it all out completely?

I quickly read another post that talked about the power fantasy, or lack thereof, and I think it very much wouldn't be a power fantasy if Null is really only useful against other mutants. Yet it would also really balance him out, because a power like his can be overpowered and broken.

Like, remember when you were a kid, playing army or cops and robbers or something, and that one kid would always be like, "I have a bulletproof vest so I'm not dead!" and it would be so annoying? That's essentially the embodiment of Null's power, "Your power doesn't work cuz I have this power!" lol

I went on a bit of a tangent I know so the tl:dr is pretty much: How does Null's power work with the rest of the universe, or has it been explicitly stated that he can only effect other mutants?

It's not a big mystery. His power only affects powers that come from the X-Gene.

IMO his actual power is going to be his army of baddies that will take issue with people being mean to him.

Makes sense, I suppose the only thing that could kinda dispute that is the fact that he's seemingly absorbing other X-Gene powers that could help him against non X-Gene powers.

We I don't know a lot about why exactly his absorbing powers work, but we do know he's only absorbing powers sourced from the X-Gene, which isn't inconsistent at all. If he were to replicate Cyclops's eye punch beams it's not like they would do a mutant-or-not check on anything he blasted with them.

I just recolored Jean's to blue since her powers are sometimes illustrated that way, but I do hope that Emma gets a unique psy visual effect like Xavier and Jean do.
Told you you'd be seeing some familiar images crop up as the number of pictures I yoink from you goes up.

This may be of interest to you and also others: The server issue has now been resolved, thanks for your patience. That's why you got the 502 (Bad Gateway) Error.

Rogue's ass
That's weird. I got it working on mobile but it still doesn't show for me on my desktop browser even after clearing my cache; probably need to fully close and reopen my browser again I guess.

Eh, whatever. As long as images are available on one of my devices I'm good. Thanks for letting us know.

I was part of that power fantasy conversation you mentioned but what I meant by power fantasy was the game being a "X-Men Life Sim" where the players get to control a self insert-ish original character whose personality, interactions with beloved characters and choices we can shape to our own preference throughout the comic faithful story and world it creates.

So perhaps I was using the wrong word right from the get go.

The true power is the power of friendship...
Nah. Too Japanese of a plot trope.
Does that mean our ragtag band of merry misfits will go and try to defeat/kill God with the power of friendship by the end?

Makes sense, I suppose the only thing that could kinda dispute that is the fact that he's seemingly absorbing other X-Gene powers that could help him against non X-Gene powers.

Imagine being the villain of the week and trying to prey on Null who seems to be a fairly unimportant Xavier sophomore who just recently became an X-Men and then suddenly you get a visit from a group of angry superpowered girlfriends.

We don't know a lot about why exactly his absorbing powers work, but we do know he's only absorbing powers sourced from the X-Gene, which isn't inconsistent at all. If he were to replicate Cyclops's eye beams it's not like they would do a mutant-or-not check on anything he blasted with them.
We also know that if Boots tries to say anything in more detail he and his loved ones would be missing an appendage or two courtesy of the writers.

I just read the roadmap its seems like it by ingame seasons so chapter 2 starts in fall. still poor suckers lol.
You don't need a crystal ball to see that chapter 2 will start just like chapter 1, with new girls being introduced, events being held, and then the sandbox being launched to interact with the girls, ending in the summer. Nevertheless, I have no doubts about the entertainment that will be offered nor about the sexy content.

I'M BACK! (with Tor) and it looks like the last couple of pages have been mostly the things people are waiting for to appear in the game plus eye candy sprinkled in throughout; so all in all just another day in the TNH F95zone thread.
Yeah basically. But since it's mainly the regulars and not random lurkers asking the same questions over and over again:
