Like, hearing that Laura has started to really like the way you smell, or Jean hesitantly bringing up your "sibling"ship every time she can in weirder ways, there's a part of you that's like "wait, is this a sex thing? are they flirting, is she into me?"

We tried man, i got over a hundred people asking to give it back.

For the love of god. We're adding MORE quirk content. The content that was in the game explicitly treated it like you were dating, not simple flirtation.

My most recent playthorugh felt weirdly abrupt without that kind of dialogue to bridge the gap between just friends and actually dating.

This wasn't in the game. This is what we're adding to the content that's been restricted to dating the girls.

I'm sorry if I'm sounding a tad miffed but I'm not the only one who's reading you guys' posts and thinking you want the girls to act like you're their boyfriend when you have a strictly platonic, if playful, relationship.

If you want the game to outright ignore reality then feel free to mod it but stop acting like we permanently took away content when we're adding a net gain in additional content for you to consume.

I'll admit Ron's decision to block off the existing content for platonic interactions, because again it's still in the game if you romance them, prior to the new content being able to be implemented was a bad move but you guys are acting like there is suddenly an absence with no hope of ever being filled when we've repeatedly told you and rephrased it six ways to Sunday that the quirk content isn't gone, and you're going to be getting more of it.

I haven't played this game in a long time. Does this version include Kitty, Storm, and Dazzler content? Or will they be added in version 0.9?

Same stuff with Ron, stop acting as if theres not an issue here or like im being unreasonable, if multiple people keep bringing this up as something that is either a bad decision or a change they dislike and want it reverted, then there is a clear fucking issue, i did not make this up, i did not bot those polls, im not the one that keeps bringing it up.

The quirks as they were, were widely liked, noone was forced to engage in them, you took away people's option, youre free to say that this was your artistic choice, thats fine, but dont you damn pretend that we are making this up, because what youre proposing isnt the same, stop the bullshit, you dont get to tell me or anyone what they should be pissed or not about and acting like if we dont have a damn good reason for not liking this and are being unreasonable.

You guys haven't even read the new stuff. The least you could do is wait until there's something actually there to like or dislike.

And I didn't mention anything about bots. All that tells me is that y'all aren't paying attention when we're telling you that you're going to be MORE content.

Here's the situation:

1. We saw that the quirk system could be expanded and improved upon.

2. Ron decided to lock the romantic subtext quirk behavior behind romantic situations.

3. The platonic quirk content isn't completed yet so he didn't add something that at the time had yet to come into existence.

4. You and many others keep posting things and acting like point 3 is us "gaslighting" you into not complaining.

I have no fucking clue how getting MORE of something you guys apparently love so much that you get enraged over it is a bad thing.

As I said, I think Ron could have waited until we actually had the platonic content to make the change but the game is in active development. Things get taken out and readded multiple times with games.

I wasn't going to say this. Partly because I think someone already has. Ron left it in just in case. So even if you HATE the new stuff, the old writing is literally a flip of the switch.
