I never played the original (don't have the patience for RPGM) so forgive me if this is an obvious question: Is this strictly a kinetic novel of the "find-the-event-trigger-to-proceed" variety, or do we actually get to make meaningful choices, affect the plot/content, guide the protagonist, etc.?

I'm 90% sure it's just triggering events, with the only variance being what order you do it in (which doesn't affect scenes). I didn't play it with URM (which would alert me if there were branching paths), but it didn't seem like there was any branching.

Stuck in the 'explore the neighborhood' attempting to raise the arousal meter. Can't click on any of the 6 boxes. I managed to fudge my way past the 1st set by editing the save file and changing my arousal to 100 but won't work for the 2nd set.

Hmm been plagued by this. Guess I haven't fixed it. Workaround is to click Switch to gameplay mode, then roll back and the boxes will be clickable

It's very easy. Enable console with unren



Open console with Shift+O
arousal = 100 (respecting spaces)

I seem to be stuck after the first call wanting me to come to the police station.....the hint says wait for the second call at lunch time.....it has now been about 5 days of doing the same thing over and over again....I've tried doing different routines during the day and nothing seems to work.....I'll just keep grinding away I guess.

The second call will happen after you hit 26 enchantments. Check the hints for the next enchantment to see what to do to advance the game to that point.

What I suspect you need to do is to go home straight away after work and talk to Jason about having Jim over for dinner one night.

Ok....I fixed being stuck at one phone call of the interrogation.....I went to the events and noticed that somehow I didn't get a call to go to the doctors office and I was missing a visit....I bumped that up one using the command console....then the scene happened the next day....strange.

It means you have turned on my developer mode. Go into your preferences and disable it. (ps if you *don't* do this, you are likely to break VN mode)

Enabling developer in UnRen is inadvisable, kids - the player above who could only see black screens had managed to turn on my SFW mode which disables the imagery in case I want to write some code in a coffee shop and not get arrested

Just FYI, you are very likely to break the game doing stuff like this.

Well after about 10 days of doing the same thing over and over again with nothing advancing and finally seeing that I was missing an enchantment with the doctor about 3 enchantments back I had to do something....if I had to start over from the beginning or close to it, I might as well try and fix it anyway....if it broke I would still have to start over....

Can anyone recommend any other good "woman turns into a total slut" games?

If you roll back, the boxes will be enabled and you'll still be in VN mode

i just added Steps Of Debauchery and Innocence Or Money to my "to play" list, both look promising

I'm very interested to see other recommendations in the genre too, esp. with heavy emphasis on exhibitionism / clothing corruption (the girl wears less and less in public) - this is soooo HOT lol

Yet again, after so many updates, the gallery is still useless because dialogue will not stop auto-advancing. No damn button turns it off. No setting in preferences properly has any effect. Please look at your code for the gallery or how youve implemented Auto-mode because something is completely screwed up. I want to like this because I despise RPM but if Auto cannot be turned off it will remain garbage in my eyes.

P.S. This is literally the only RenPy game I have ever seen have this issue, and I have played hundreds. This is definitely a problem with your code.
