Why is it always the people, you know haven't donated one dime to any dev always the ones crying about milking?

If you are donating and not getting what you want in an acceptable timeframe then by all means stop donating. If you could care less about how long an update takes then keep donating the updates coming. What we do with our real world dollars is not up to the "there milking" crowd. They are the ones that cry all the time about it.

If your a sub ask the Dev on Patreon or SS or wherever you support...

I partially agree, I would more say let the dev release an update. Get the update and if the person feels its worth money then donate. So many devs barely put anything out and when they do its pretty lame or not very long. I myself have started only donating to games I really feel have put out good content or are completed and I like the game all the way through.

Devs milking their supporters for months/years make more then a lot of professional game studios with way less quality games.

When games become bigger they get harder and harder to update when the "platform" you use get more complex. I used to test things in Humbird0-rpg-maker back in the days. The more content you add the harder it get, if you don't want to mess things up with other events you added months before. So what might seem as a "money milking"-game behind the scene could actually be that it's hard to work with such a big game.
I suggest that you download the rpg-maker from Humbird0 website and try working with it. After adding a few simple events I think you start to see what I'm trying to say. But I understand that people find waiting on this game a little bit of a "pain in the ass".

I do also love this game. Now when Innana start to show up even outside the necklace I wonder how the process will get reversed.

By considering how big the game is at this point and how hard it must be to work with new updates, I wouldn't get surprised if the dev sooner or later start making a part two of this game. It might spare some time.

Development Update

Hey everyone! Hope you had a good Halloween!
I just want to touch base and let you know here I'm at with the next release. I'm currently working on the big final scene, which is taking a while because it involves 8 characters which is a lot to pose and render for each shot. I still have some smaller scenes to do after that, but this should be the last of the big stuff. I'm hoping to be done with rendering in 4-6 weeks, optimistically, and then maybe a week or two to playtest and get things ready for a release. This is a sort of loose timeline and may be subject to delays caused by the upcoming holidays and such. I know you all have been waiting a long time, but rest assured I am working and you will be getting a release soon.

i dont think it really matters, i think everyone has a Dev or 2 they been subbed to for years i know i do , if u have no long-standing subs outta all the games on this site u just dont really support Devs like that imo , player yes , supporter no . if ur gunna pocket watch Devs it doesnt really do anything lol if ur gunna support a game u'll support it simple and plain

I wouldn't expect anything until February or March. Remember most devs here take a month off for the holidays.

These devs should be paid based on performance not money for nothing, clearly this dev is no longer concerned about putting updates out like before and yes last couple of updates really sucked, you do not even see communication from this dev the way it used to be .

I could not agree more, I have stated this on threats for other games but when people pay devs for nothing it hurts the overall community. Why should devs do anything when they are getting paid for nothing. Just beyond stupid, and people instantly get updates and pay for them even when the updates suck and the communication is almost non existent but hey if people want to be morons and waste their money more power to them.

Because of that more and more devs will milk their idiot supporters until the supporters start getting a little less stupid then they will release a decent update and the morons will be like "see the dev is great, please take my money." and the cycle starts all over again.
