Free advise: most players don't even care about those names.
I think you might be the only one who thinks altering names would make THE GAME more interesting. What you do in the game has nothing to do with the names of the characters unless you have family with those names and it makes you feel funny.

This is for the developer to decide, not to the community. If you're unhappy with RPGM, make your own game. Also there is a remake in RenPy.

Really? So, I clearly I was not the only one who felt that way! Of course I'll play the Ren'Py version, thank you for pointing me that direction. The RPGM in this case make the game look like amateur glued something together that does not belong. It screams "Use Ren'Py, silly!"
It was the dev's first game, which probably helps explain why he chose RPGM when Ren'Py would have been more appropriate.Really? So, I clearly I was not the only one who felt that way!
