Ok so i gave this game a go but the mechanics are definitely difficult.
I havent figured out how to beat the first mini boss - seems to be v high level. I suggest the tutorial include what you should by in the first round and get a general feel of the game.

I tried min maxing 2 cadets with side arms, that got wiped.
fighter with armor sidearm and sheild - got wiped
heavy with armor and primary - go wiped.

Not exactly sure what the combination is to get past the first boss.

It's also not clear to me if you can retreat or not? - not sure how the end day works while you are on the expedition. I'm guessing you cannot return unless you beat the boss.

May try this game again when its more flushed out.

Look into your items to retreat back to base.

I don't speak English, so I don't know if I lost part of the tutorial or it just doesn't explain it, but how do I get back to base when I exit?

I ended up dying three rooms after leaving, I would appreciate help with instructions

in the "item" menu on the bottom are extra options, there is the back to base, the game is ok, but need a lot more of explanation, is just the 0.1 so its understandable

This game is too grindy for what it is

And i already using save editor and it barely helps

Go into skills and make them use their weapons.

it´s not full, but my party get to the second boss(actual final boss) ez, the game is super grindy, nice concept but really boring for now
