Am I the only person unable to play, Right out of intro after talking to the cook, I can't click on anything except the Chief's tent. I can press small talk but I can't initiate it, I think I am missing something. I never played the game before 0.5 I saw a comment saying click all the buildings but nothing happens, they don't highlight or anything.

Yea holy shit. Maybe cause it was 4 AM yesterday and my brain was off. I tried after I woke up this morning and I saw Kitchen Porter was clickable before I saw your message right now but thanks for replying, thanks a lot.

I really like writing in this game, its pretty hilarious at times. Main character is sassy as fuck and really cool to play as. The game would be fun to play even if it didnt have porn stuff because writing is very enjoyable.
Yallara is a doll.
Main characters dick looks weird in some cgs though. Sometimes it looks too thin for its length and penis head looks deformed and spooky.
UI needs some work, not having standard renpy shit such as right click menu sucks.
Maybe some pointers on what to do would be nice. For me it was pretty intuitive that you need to grind jobs and Yallara stuff but still being thrown into sandbox/freeroam without any hints kind of sucks.
Overall this game is very very underrated. I hope these guys find success they deserve after adding a little more polish to their game.

0.5 took twice as long as the previous versions. Been very busy, no free time, all the typical lame, bullshit excuses. I'm currently unemployed and improving my portfolio to secure a better job. It's really draining, hope I can wrap it up soon.
I'll start working on 0.6 immediately to catch up to the lost schedule. Next update we'll meet a new orc girl. I'm thinking of running polls to determine her character first, then run visual design polls.
I spend a long time learning animation and preparing animations for this version, but they turned out super goofy. I won't include them in a final build, but will share some of them later on Patreon. That said, we still have few little animated segments throughout 0.5. Nothing crazy, 2-3 frame loops, but they look quite decent.
I've messaged one of my honorable warrior or higher tier supporters for an art request. I'll give them a week to respond. If they don't, I'll contact another one. I'll share the art here when it's done either way.

Updates of Pale Orc have really halted. Few month ago I've lost most of my work files in an SSD crash. Remaking same art assets for the second time is super boring. I'm on bit of a rough patch in my personal life as well, and it's difficult to find motivation to continue development.
I was aiming to complete The Pale Orc by the end of spring 2021, and could have, but dropped the ball. I need to rest from the project for a little while.
I'm not canceling The Pale Orc, just laying it off for some time. It sucks to not finishing something I started, but I won't fight through frustration to complete it. Development is my hobby, and I'm not having fun.
I'm already working on a little side visual novel set in the same fantasy universe. It will have different main characters and a shorter story. I'm finishing up the main cast and will be presenting the moon.

Shieeeeeeeeet, that's why I always keep telling people to use god damn HDDs for long term storage and backup, at least the platter data can be retrieved post-malfunction unlike SSD crashes.
