So I got some free time (cancelled my daily goon sesh) and used the time to hack together a crude animation menu:

I highly encourage you to play the game first see the animations in action, but some of the animations are just too good to leave to RNG.

Do you have to remake the whole thing, or is it just patching a few variables? any chance we could cobble it together ourselves with the original mod as a base?
This one seems a little more robust than the 1.3 version. I already got a running version, I'm just fighting some weird issue with the translations. Never worked with translations in Godot, but I'm starting to figure things out.

Anybody with moderate knowledge of GDRE and Godot could probably do things themselves, you don't have to remake things from scratch. The process breaks down to: Decompile the game, fix errors caused by decompilation, add modded files and recompile. I wouldn't recommend doing it out of desperation since this can be a quite frustrating process, but if you are bored or just really impatient, you can go for it.

I'm also documenting my steps this time around, so once I got things working, I'll probably post some basic instructions for anyone who is interested

ok my honest opinion about this update is that its meh, hear me out.

-the new delve animations are good but no new peeking animations.
-the game don't save after every dive so u have to return to main menu to save now.

i got a few more gripes about this update but im pretty sure no one wants to hear me nagging.

I saw the same windows defender trojan alert for another godot game a few days ago. Either it's a windowsdefender false positive or godot games are magically getting infected with the same trojan, which is doubtful. I have bitdefender and it found nothing.

Again, so annoying... Last time it got flagged just because I capped FPS in the exported build. This time it’s probably because I made it run in resizable 1280x720 by default - I don’t think I changed anything else in the executable.
If (for some reason) you’re not comfortable trusting a random guy on the internet, you can try running a Frankenstein of the 1.3 EXE and the 1.4c PCK file. Or just wait a bit - I’ll try to get rid of this flag tomorrow :unsure:

Translations as in code or human language?
Human translation. It's nothing major, just annoying to me. I think I got it fixed for the most part, but I'm out of time for today. Will keep looking into it tomorrow any maybe get a modded version out by Tuesday or Wednesday

Anyone knows the logic behind the torch being unlightable? It's kind of frustrating saving torches for later when they won't even be of use

If she loses her shorts or shirt (not the jacket), torch becomes unusable. Unless you meant the logic as in, the dev's reasoning. That's probably just 'cause it's way too early for the protag to know what's happening.
