Loco man... can't wait for the List ending after this, lotta stuff to unpack. But I'm greatly enjoying it. Question tho... after the List is finished, will you focus solely on this one until finished, or continue with the main saga too in an alternating way?

The plan is Chapter 13 next then chapters 2-6 for The Perfect Town (it is just a short game), and Then I will move to The List 2. I only jumped here for the new game because of the scenes early in the game that cross over into The List chapter 12 and it does hint at a few things to come in chapter 13 of The List. If people really enjoy Sam I would consider creating a story based on him, but that would need to wait until the end of The List Saga.

Well, once again, I am late to the party, Unc. Having read the thread in anticipation of opening The Perfect Town as a pre-Christmas present to myself and being reminded of your dastardly deed in the telling of The List; I have steeled myself to accept the fact that I will have to hate you for yet another 5 seconds because of the atrocity you have, evidently, already committed in this tale! Having given this startling revelation some serious thought before shooting off my mouth in this post, I realized that, in essence, you are no different than Judas Iscariot; a man who was not inherently evil but, simply, a poor soul who was given a shit job to carry out. I have further surmised that, since you are a story teller with a story to tell, you have no choice. You must tell your story. Just like Judas had no choice but to betray Jesus, you have no choice but to faithfully recount to us the events of your story. For your bravery, Uncle Loco, I commend you. In fact, Unc, I have found it in my heart to forgive you; which seems highly appropriate since, I don't even know exactly what sin you have commited here. For this reason alone, Uncle Loco, I should thank you for this opportunity to emulate such lofty and god-like ideals. Jus' Sayin':devilish:

I am really trying to do something different here. I know I am not the best at this not even close, but I just want to tell a story that isn't always happy. One where sometimes the good guys lose, but in the end, each loss makes the MC stronger. I am taking chances here pushing boundaries of areas that can at times get people to bust out the pitchforks and torches. I just hope in the end you will all enjoy the ride even those times where you want to strangle me for what I did.

You are absolutely correct, Unc. You are not the best writer out there but, you are a damn good story-teller and I am a fan. One of the biggest reasons I'm a fan is exactly this effort to tell a poignant story. Life is not all roses and sometimes victories are hard won and require too great a price. Sometimes the win just isn't in the cards. Some who know me here are aware that I am 1) An old man and 2) A former Marine. I can tell you that 50 years after the fact, I still, sometimes, wake up in a sweat. Keep doing what you're doing, man. It goes a long way towards keeping this old warrior interested and engaged. Thanks.

Uncle Loco I love what you did with this story and the process of tying it in to The List. It makes more sense to me, and I love how you are telling the story. Keep up the great work and I can't wait for chapter 13, but also the continuation of this story as well.

Okay. I've played through the new game. My two cents on the soul thing.

Just my thoughts, feel free to ignore ;)
I have some ways to address this, but that will have to wait for the right moment. Don't forget Eve is able to speak to those close to Rob, so who knows what she may have told Madison already.

I just don't think ill ever be able to get into this one to be honest. Its prolly my fault for playing the list as as if I was the protagonist but that's just the way I enjoy vns. I cant help but only see this mc as just robs dad I just have zero interest in his sex life or his harem it has no appeal to me. It also just leaves a bitter taste in the mouth knowing that he was able to stop rob from going through so much shit
I always had my doubts whether the multiple protagonists with there own harems and story in the same universe could work and this has essentially proved that doubt for me. Again my thoughts are purely subjective and im sure there will be others who will enjoy it.
As for the whole Alexis soul thing.. I get where your going but I really dislike it being the mcs daughter angle. No matter how you frame it for me the soul that was removed was going to be mcs daughter and got supplanted with his dead wife... its so fucking creepy. It honestly makes her death even more pointless and the payoff just isn't going to be there for me.

Alright, about the soul thing,

Expect im pretty sure your wrong about how the soul was replaced. Its clearly shown in this game that eve takes a soul out and even says its not your time yet return to the wheel and places Alexis soul inside Maddison way before the birth of the child so it seems souls are not put in near the end at all. Unless the dev retcons it She absolutely already had a soul.

Stupid question: but if The List is before this game, why is The List labeled as a sequel in the OP? Shouldn't that say "previous game", or even "prequel"?
Just an overlook on my part when I used the template for a new game. I will fix it.

already hate Rob's dad Sam. cant wait for Rob to kill him. sadly that probably wont be an option, ever. hold zero love and loyalty to a man who didnt raise mc, using the chosen one as an excuse to forgo parental responsibilities and save your daughter in laws life is asking to get stabbed in throat. Its bad enough when shitty parents say, I did it for you. Sam did it for the greater good. what an ass.
