Hmmm... you really aren't reading the situation correctly. The children had a soul, that soul wasn't extinguished, it simply was returned to the wheel. As you say, an Unborn children, with no memories, no life, no emotions, no feelings. Replaced with another soul, with no memories, no life, no emotions, no feelings.oh don´t they???

I think you're looking at it too shallowly. It would ultimately be like losing a child or sacrificing it in exchange. There would be a lot of confused and conflicting emotions from both parents.
Maybe you should brush up on what a 6 weeks old fetus is. That's "the child". Doesn't even has neurons.
I haven't started this yet, but, this topic of fetuses, well, it touches a nerve for me. Some people believe fetuses are a person from the moment of conception. I am am one of those and I won't argue with anyone over it. They can believe as they wish. I also believe in souls. Anyway, this can swiftly go off-topic.
It's a matter of perspective. Objectively speaking, you are absolutely right. To somebody with no intention of carrying that child to term, you are absolutely right. However, to somebody that does or would intend to carry the child to term, it's a different matter. Miscarriages, for instance, can destroy people.
Again, it's far more complex than that. It's like Scroedingers child. It is now, both their child, but at the same time, not their child, but a friend and lover. The whole relationship dynamic becomes a complete mess.
Good idea to bow out. The abortion is murder/fetus is a person crowd aren't exactly reasonable people. I mean it's a fictional fetus they are getting up in arms about ffs. I think Ben Affleck said it best.Uncle Loco I took this as far as I can.
What these people are arguing are points unrelated to the story, that I can't argue here without getting banned.
All I can tell all of you, is what is IN the story. I am NOT making judgements or statements. Yet, you want to discuss this on subjects that this forum is NOT equipped to discuss. As far as I am aware, discussing ANY of those subjects is a big no-no here.

- Don't presume anyone's religion.
- Don't presume anyone's geographical location.
- Don't presume anyone's political leanings.
- Understand that even when all that is equal, anyone MAY have a wildly different approach to everything.
