A full game with interactive features, scenes, variety of storylines and so much more finished within 2 years while others can't muster up to finishing the game after 8 years.

Still getting a bug on the varren GO+ scenes. Where he licks Tali's ass, my game crashes. Does anyone have a saved data they could share to where I can skip the licking scene and go straight to the escape attempts?

Those two have been in the game for a while. You can find them in the Vents.
Advance the game until you can scan the map for more places. You need to find the Pool area and go through an event there, which will place you in the Vents. If you look at the map, while in the Vents, there is a section at the upper left of the vents map that leads you to an endless map, where you can encounter various things, including the facehuggers and the Xeno.
You need to find the med lab, AMI, and save Nyun. After that, explore the vents and you should be able to find your way to the next section of the vents.
The facehuggers are a random event that you can encounter in the endless vents section.
You need to make a lot of noise to trigger the Xeno.
Talk to AMI, there should be an option to talk about opening hatches/doors and it should lead to you telling AMI to open the exit.
The medlab is the yellow box at the bottom left, the exit to the main ship is the yellow box just to the right of it. So, exit the lab, turn right and then turn right again and you should be at the exit, after you talk to AMI and she opens the hatch for you.
The ship flying I want to make closer to original, but in case of RenPy just click-to-move there. There will be some upgrades for ship to enter specific star systems.
Characters like AMI and Tika will survive, no worries, everything will be explained in next game start. Many creatures will die with the crash of course, but galactic is full of violence, sometimes you just can't save everyone.
It is always possible that you have a bugged save.
You said you have found the med lab, then found AMI, then explored the vents and saved Nyun.
Has Nyun recovered yet? If not, you might need to spend some time resting or just randomly exploring the vents for a bit then come back and rest a few times.
If Nyun is hanging around in the lab, try talking to her some or see if you can send her out once or twice.
Other than a bugged save file, the only thing I can think of is that the game can get a bit twitchy now and then if you end up getting caught by a monster and then 'recovering' in the lab right after a major event in the story. Try resting, entering the vents and then just turning around and going right back to the lab and rest again.
Not sure what else to suggest, I just went through all that yesterday (on a new game) and it worked fine for me, but, I wasn't bee lining for anything, just collecting stuff, making fire grenades, and f'ing around with the critters.
Of course its nice to have some new partners in the coming game.
Forgive me for bringing it up, but I do want to voice a concern. These are all nice promises for a sequel, but beware of what's called 'feature creep'. If you try to do so many new things and bigger things, its incredibly easy to burn out with trying to make it all interact properly with each other and just the sheer amount of work involved. Don't be afraid to scale back and narrow your focus to making the parts you are dedicated on that much better.

Wow this dev actually did it! Can't believe this game is already finished. Well then time to set aside a few days to play out this game. The amount of content is quite substantial now

Yes, it does have an exit now, if you move 10 times in the vents, the exit will appear and it leads to the end of the story. You get a choice to go to the ending or pass for now. So, if you aren't ready to see the ending of the game, hold off on entering that vent until you are.

its also worth noting the ending does not contain any sex scene(s)
so ten times random direction and i have a choice it i want to end the game or just keep playing the game
