Hi everyone.
First things first - hey, new people! If you've subscribed to
the Professor tier or above and are interested in a custom render, DM me here or on Discord, and we can discuss it.
Game development - research and design phase
Most of what I did this week was to design the end of the chapter. I found a new environment for a big event that will take place in part 4 of chapter 1. This scene is going to be very significant and will feature several events. I already started modifying it, adding lights and high-quality and polygonal assets instead of the low-polygon assets that I received with this one.
You can see an example. I have already added new lights and replaced the water with a new one that has a more realistic look. I need to add more realistic, high-quality rocks. However, overall, the architecture of this environment is fantastic, and I look forward to utilizing it in the game. (I'll attach a better-res one also, so that you can see it better)

One more thing I do is a checklist of who will participate in this part, and the list is quite nice. I'll share it once I finalize it. I am also structuring the scenes to get a good rhythm as much as possible.
This is a test I made for one of the rooms in this amazing environment. This is a shower room inside the rock cliff with natural plants and a glass wall. Behind it, there is a waterfall, and there is a mountain with a view of trees. Just amazing.

Sorry for the censorship, I need to align with Patreon TOS.
I really have ambitious ideas for this part. I want to have at least 3-4 LEWD scenes. Some will probably be shorter than the regular scenes. But I am for at least two long ones, as I have been until now. I also really want to add a new mini-game; it's fairly easy. Not going crazy with it. Might think about how to implement it as optional.
So let's summarize what I've done until now:
- I made a list of who I wanted to participate in this part.

- I made a list of the LEWD scenes I wanted to include in this part.

- I have concluded what has happened up to now, from parts 1 to 3.

- I have written down what I want to happen till the end of the chapter.

- I am currently designing how the chapter will look, which scenes will come after the other. As I already mentioned. Some scenes will be for fun and purely to meet the girls and learn about their pasts and personalities.

- Designing steam-related features that I didn't include until now - achievements.

- I am surfing the web, listening to music, and I am getting inspired.

This is by far the most challenging part of the chapter development for me. A well-designed system will make my job easier in implementing the end-of-the-chapter. So this is crucial.
Game difficulty
So, let's say that I think that the game should be played as it is without touching it. This is the standard difficulty to play. Yes, some scenes are more difficult than others to unlock. And some just handed to the player without even breaking a sweat. I personally enjoy a game with some difficulty. I want to unlock something that is not given to me. It feels good.
But having said that, I am thinking about implementing a system to make it easier for anyone who doesn't want to play on normal difficulty. Thinking about adding an easy mode and nerfing some of the conditions to unlock the scenes.
Custom renders
I created two custom renders this week (I had wanted three, but couldn't make it, as those renders were challenging)
VNWhiteKnight's custom of Amira, Tink, and MC having fun with a freebie at a nice picnic - get it

Ratings and reviews - your help is still needed
Did you rate TPOT already on the
GameStoryLog website?
If you did, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If not, you can still help me by writing a review and rating the game.
Ten people have already reviewed it since I asked, and it made a real difference.
TPOT was on the 4th page of the top-rated, and now it's on the 3rd page. That's a significant difference.
Also, TPOT is second on the rising stars stats.
