The proper response would have been to pull away financial support from him... not verbally beat him across the head with Lisa demands and complaints regarding her every single update. There are certainly valid criticisms that can be levelled at this game... but folks need to learn when to stop. About a quarter of the comments here are regarding how the content involving her is progressing.
What do you expect with a fairly popular game? People like a certain character who is very clearly "on the table", so to speak, and the developer keeps dropping scenes with that character, keeps teasing more to come, only to cut that off entirely and have them watch as someone else swoops in.
Keep in mind this is over the course of six or seven years.
He got what he got, and while I won't be complaining every other update, adding to the chorus, I'm not going to say those who do shouldn't. They've got every right to complain. As long as they're not calling for physical harm or worse, they can complain every update as far as I'm concerned.
