I don't remember the game being quite as entertaining as this thread. Then again, it HAS been a long while and I kinda forgot what it was like to play the game.

Greetings! I think many of you are, like me, on the US West Coast, so I hope you're all staying safe out there! For those of you who don't know, pretty much the whole western United States is on fire right now, because of course it is - it's 2020. Hopefully the wildfires haven't affected you, but if you're in the area, I'd highly recommend packing your essentials to prepare for an evacuation. Plan multiple escape routes, make sure you've got disaster alerts enabled on your phone, have some food and water on hand, and just generally make sure you're prepared if you need to evacuate. Be vigilant, and be safe!
There are several about 25 miles from me (in different directions,) but I think I've done about all I can to prepare. I don't think they'll make it here, but I think I'll be okay even if they do. I haven't mentioned this before, but I sold my desktop stuff and now work from a laptop (a ThinkPad workstation) so it shouldn't impact development that much even if I do have to evacuate.
I'm still putting the finishing touches on the long quest, but I've decided to drop the final small quest I was going to include. I didn't feel that good about the concept I currently have for it, and I really want to make a release deadline for once! The release should have plenty of content with what's already there. There's still a lot of loose ends to tie up, but I still think I can have it out by the end of the month. It'll probably be really close to the end of the month, but still in September. If that changes I'll let you know, but I really want to get this thing out and get rolling again.
I have an interesting idea for the long quest's boss battle that I'm currently working on, and I'm hoping it'll be fun. I kinda want to talk about it, but hopefully you'll see it for yourself soon enough

Not to be corrective or douchey but just in case it's not clear, the character is Val the warlock and she's the one blond lady in the bunnies guild. I think her scenes are first accessed by buying coffee from the one stall in the eastern part of 'ogremarsh' and then trying to sleep.
Just walk to Val's room at night after you wake up from the caffeine and she'll proceed to dom your inferior human self.

My problem with that scenario was that caffeine keeps you awake, once you're asleep you're asleep.
Now waking up because you have to pee from drinking before you go to bed is another matter.
