Firstly i said probably
Secondly even if not first people have English commonly as a secondary language
Third you can go to countries where NO-ONE speaks Chinese or Spanish but at least some if not more speak English
Lastly I'm not disappointed, more annoyed that we don't have one language worldwide for media n entertainment, anime sry only Japanese region 1, great movie too bad only in German, fun game aww not in your country, so much restrictions leading to months even years between manga chapter releases due to language translation needed.

*How* do I get to the hard version? I don't see a torch outside of the Oracle's temple, and once I go in there isn't a torch, just the choice to subscribe to the newsletter or not. The result of that choice doesn't seem to change anything.

Or is this something that's only available on a second trip to the Oracle?

It had been quite a while since I last checked this AVN/game. I do recall visiting the Oracle at least two times. Both time had the puzzles.

Sorry that I am unable to answer your question regarding to the torch outside of Oracle's temple. If I recall this correctly, I think there is a path or room somewhere in the temple that guild you to a puzzle (which need to be completed) before meeting the Oracle. If that what you may be referencing to.

Hopefully you may get some answers from others who may had also gone through this AVN/game.

i got the stop watch from the kobalds and saw it say there is 2 new night scenes but regardless of coffee or clock i cant seem to access them is that a bug or something

I'm probably not the most qualified to answer your question as I haven't played this in years, but my understanding is that the game's development got to a point where instead of adding anything new most updates were just tweaks to already existing content and bug fixes that introduced as many new bugs as they fixed. The game hasn't been marked as abandoned, which suggests that there has been something resembling game development done in the last six months if I am remembering the abandoned tag's rules properly.

The site may have its own rules, but as far as I'm concerned anything without an update for six months IS abandoned.

Last Patreon post about updates was July 31. Put as much or as little weight on that as you like.
