drawing/ writing/ game design/ coding/ mostly 1 person team/ lack of budget/ large scope

I think the game could be 25 hours+ when I finish everything.
Not trying to argue here and i dont really blame you but at the pace you are updating i think you just milking your subscribers but i appreciate your hard work and will continue to play/buy your subscription

Ignoring the fact that you just tried to cover up an incredibly rude and scathing comment under a pile of feigned appreciation at the end, let's do a little math, shall we? To see if he really is "milking his subscribers" as you so delicately put it.

Referencing his Patreon releases, the farthest back we can track is v13, released in June 2022. The latest version, v38, was released on Patreon last month, in October 2024.

38-13 = 25

Now doing a bit of rounding, October 2024 - June 2022 = ~28, hell let's just say 29 months with some rounding.

So we've established that within the span of 29 months, 25 significant content updates, at least significant enough that the dev felt it appropriate to assign each their own version designation, have been released. I'll insert a little personal bias here: having kept up with the game since release, I've never been disappointed with a content drop from pkpkpkpkpkpk, thinking it "too little."

A little division shows us that 29 months / 25 version updates = 1.16.

It takes pkpkpkpkpkpk a little over a month on average to release an update. Compare that to other game devs on this site, who will make their subscribers wait for 4-6 months between content updates, or longer in some cases, while still maintaining high sub counts, and you have the gall to come and accuse him of "milking his subscribers"?

I guess what I'm trying to say is:

Not trying to don a 'white knight' uniform or anything, this no-thought post just really pissed me off.
